HUE restaurant - 123 Tyrwhitt Rd

Nice ambience! Recently had my company dinner there and enjoyed the experience and food. Yummy Thai food with a creative twist. Definitely coming back again to try the other dishes and the upcoming ones!

Was here on Tuesday! Food was great, ambience was good and service was impeccable. Our bill came up to $161 for 2 beers, 5 dishes and 2 rice. Highly recommend the following dishes: - garlilicious prawn (prawns were fresh and the sauce is fragrant and addictive!) - chicken nest (the edible nest is such a great idea and it goes so well with the savoury wings) - paper fish (my saliva is gathering in my mouth as I recall how good this was, need I say more?) Will definitely be back to try the other dishes!

Attended the media preview of Hue’s menu items. Staff shared with the dining party that the restaurant aims to take a twist on traditional Thai food, with contemporary cooking styles. The decor of the restaurant seeks to match the theme of the food; the furniture is chic with mood lighting surrounding the bar counter. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors. Across the various dishes, the presentation of the food is well done, with the caveat that some of the food, while nice tasting, might not taste like what one might expect from Thai food. Particular highlights were the chargrilled squid, which is stuffed with pork and basil; the Not a Tom Yum soup; as well as Beef Tartare, my personal favourite. Giving special attention to the Mango and Sago dessert, which was absolutely delicious with the coconut. However there was a shaved ice dessert containing ginger which was somewhat of a miss, as it tasted rather bland for the bits without the ginger. Lastly; the drinks are quite refreshing, especially the blue pea and lemongrass drink. Perhaps using larger ice cubes may be nicer as it sometimes feels like one is drinking more ice than drink at times. All in all, would be willing to visit again at the next refresh of the menu ??

Loved the take on Thai food! Really delicious and can’t wait to come back for more to try their other dishes. Loved the super cute interiors as well ???.

Great dining place with good food! Was served with fresh oysters matched with specially mixed sauce that bring out the sweetness of the oysters! 3 little pigs is a must try dish as well! Most of the dishes are topped with really good and special sauces that I've never tasted before. Definitely a must try Thai fusion place! Will be back for a dinner session for the ambience!

The ambience is good, service is top notch. But sorry, i was expecting not a Tom Yum is a Tom yum soup that will amaze me, but it is merely a prawn noodle soup. I love the paper fish, taste good and boneless, but the fish wasn't cleaned properly, few fish scales were found on the fish. With this price point, I wasn't expected the scales.

Modern Thai but retains the true flavors. All of us Loved the food. Will recommend and go back for more Every dish was a discovery of a new twist. We did not order any desserts as those seemed a little too Modern. Service was also excellent - something you don’t get easily. Compliments to the chef and service team
