β β β β β I was walking down the street with my Thai friend when we came across Mei Toy, my friend got very excited, back home she will eat Papaya Salad whenever she gets a chance but we hadn't seen it in Singapore till now so we stopped to eat.
I ordered Fried Noodles with Chicken, my friend ordered Papaya Salad and something called Labb Mao.
The restaurant is on a corner and is setup sort of like a burger stand with tables outside. They seemed to be doing a lot of business, that's always a good sign.
My friend is kind of picky when it comes to Papaya Salad, about half the time she says it's not quite right or that it's just okay. When she tasted her order she was very pleased with it, that goes for the Labb Mao and Papaya Salad. She said that the people there were speaking her Thai dialect which is Isan.
My food was good and I would rate it 3 but I'm going to bump up my final rating to a 4 because my friend was so happy with it!

β β β β β A good Thai restaurant with very reasonable prices with dishes from about $5 and onwards. Itβs also air conditioned which is quite nice. The looks inside the restaurant could be a bit more polished but itβs still ok. They have few bigger round tables that is great for a bit bigger group that enjoys sharing food. I recommend to try their fish as itβs very tasty. They only accept cash, so donβt forget to bring some.

Menu via QR Code, good, though the viewing system can get a little frustrating.
Could have a bit more food varieties too.
