Roast Pork + Char Siew. The char siew meat is well marinated in the sweet honey sauce but the roast pork is the one we should just go for here due to its crackling shiokness.

Duck was decent, savoury and I could pick out the herbal flavours. However, it was a little salty and tough. I prefer their roasted pork belly and char siew which were very tender, succulent and delicious. The roasted pork belly had crispy skin yet soft meat. I would return for their roasted pork meat instead.

Discovered another roast meat joint that serve fantastic wanton noodles. They are located in a coffeeshop walking distance away from fong kee. I believe their signature would be the dung gui herbal roasted duck but i still decide to habe the wanton noodle anyway. Wanton noodle was SGD$3.50, portion was reasonable. Noodle was nicely cooked, no trace of alkenline taste.charsiew was nicely roasted. Good ratio of lean and fat meat.wanton was fine, could do with more filling. Would come back in the future to try their roast duck next time.

Stumbled on this after leaving Keong Saik Bakery. Me and the missus had the duck and char siew combo. The duck meat is advertised as Dang-Gui duck. The herbal taste is there but can be stronger. The duck meat is decent. The char siew is well roasted, has good texture and bite, but some pieces were quite fatty. That being said, the portions are generous, the sauce is fragrant with umami, and service is good. I had it with rice while the missus had it with hor fun. The hor fun is infused with roast meat taste. I don't know how they do this; it does not seem that this was achieved simply by drizzling the sauce over the hor fun. But it was a delight. I would pick the hor fun over rice next time. For S$5/pax, this is an above average meal. I would patronise again if I am the in the vicinity.

Review for the month of July 2021....1 word = Average. Nothing special of its Roasted Pork nor Char Siew. The Dang Gui Herbal Duck is Decent taste. Oh and the price for 1 kg of roasted pork/char siew is about $60/KG !! Higher than most of the coffeeshop price. (Average $50 Below)

Excellent Dang Gui roasted duck. Good Sio Bak. Not bad char siew but sausage was of the "healthier choice" variety. We would have preferred it to be the #HappierChoice type - i.e. unabashedly MORE FAT! The hor fun ("ipoh kway teow" version as is the norm for roast meat stalls) was excellent too in that it was done still stretchy with some bite as opposed to boiled till a mushy texture that rivals mee sua in some other stalls.

Sorry Duck Noodle finish before I can take the picture. My inner Dark side decided to finish it up fast before my camera can take the picture. Their egg noodle is very good the same type many restaurants sell. Their duck meat have the herbal smell and taste and their sauce is special I Believe is their secret weapon.
