โ โ โ โ โ Pretty authentic Korean experience here had the gamjatang which is pretty much massive for 2 persons, and donโt forget to add the fried rice which is cooked at the end with the remaining broth thatโs sizzled down. This is always my favourite part of gamjatang. canโt wait to be back to try their other dishes.

โ โ โ โ โ 3 set lunches for 3 satisfied customers! No reservation for lunch time, so we waited a decent 20 minutes, chatting about our favourite K-dramas from Live to My Mister and then Hospital Playlist. We are currently smitten by Our Blues and 39.
My vegetarian bibimbap was delicately balanced in favours, perfectly paired with 4 small portions of starters.
My companions had the beef lunches. According to them, the meat was well seasoned.
Should we return?
Yes! Will return to try its BBQ..

โ โ โ โ โ Throwback to one of the better Korean BBQs I have tried in Singapore thus far. Introduced by Feng Yi for our long overdue get-together with Venza (the ladyboss of @chatsworthcookies), @hyangyeon_kfood impressed us very much with their solid Banchan (the kimchi wasnโt too sour which is how I prefer mine and they didnโt drag their feet when we requested for repeated refills), very satisfying Beef Bone Soup ($16++), tasty Seafood and Kimchi Korean Pancakes ($22++ for the combo plate) and most important of all, the meats. We made a beeline for the Tong Galbi Gui, a huge slab of marinated bone-in beef short rib ($98++, feeds 2 to 3 pax) and Duroc Pork Belly ($28++). Loved both, especially since the staff handled the grilling for us (it was done over a gas fire at our table) to ensure the meats were cooked to tender, juicy perfection. I must agree with Fengyi that this KBBQ restaurant serves high quality beef and pork. Will be back to this Telok Ayer branch for sure!

โ โ โ โ โ Excellent service, reasonably priced set meal for the amount of meat given. We order the pork and beef BBQ set for $118 (2-3 pax). It came with 4 cuts of meat, steamed egg, soup, mushroom, onion, veg and the entire appetiser set up. We added a seafood pancake and in the end, had to bring back some of the food as it was simply too much for the 3 of us. Service was great, the waiter barbecued all the meat, mushroom and onion perfectly and cut them into bite-size pieces for us. After cooking each piece of meat, he would clean the BBQ plate before starting with the next cut so that there are no burnt bits. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and the place was full. Surprising, there was no oily smell on us when we left, so I guess the ventilation must have been pretty effective. Will definitely be back again.

โ โ โ โ โ I just keep returning. โค๏ธ?This is absolutely my top 1 Korean restaurant of the year. Well-marinated meats, perfect bean paste stews, sides dishes that I need re-fills. I have brought 2 friends on separate occasions, they enjoyed the food just as much. I will love to return daily if calories donโt count ? I do appreciate the pleasant service & free hand gel. How thoughtful!

โ โ โ โ โ Was here for lunch. Had ordered a pork BBQ set, comes with free steam egg and a seafood stew. Added on with army stew and Korean rice wine.
The best part is the crew here will BBQ for you. They know the best time to cook it. Leaving the meat soft and tender.
Kamsahamnida!
