My therapist, Jessmine, is skillful and professional. She is able to make the facial session comfortable. She is able to cater the treatment plan to your skin condition. The environment is nice and the overall experience is wonderful. Highly recommended!

Went for my first facial at IDS Aesthetic, Orchard branch and did the 60 minutes Hydro-Therapeutics Treatment (HTT) to remove accumulated dirt, product build-up and clogged sebum. Eileen, the facial therapist was gentle but professional who answered all my pesky queries with ease. Left the place with some redness ( as expected for my sensitive skin ) but an overall dewy glow which lasted for several days! Great for time-strapped individuals!

I had been there for my second consultation with Dr. BEN and I really liked how they have ample space and staff to take care of the clients. I had to check my temperature, and my health declaration and hardly waited for 5 minutes before I was called in by the doctor. The doctor patiently checked my skin and suggested Cryo facial. I was taken into the facial room and the room was very spacious. It's very important for someone like me who is very claustrophobic. I even had a cupboard to keep my belongings. The therapist did a great job with respect to the Facial and I could see how clear and soft my skin was instantly. Overall, I am very pleased with their service and the staff.

Tried the Pep. Blue Deep Facial upon Dr Michelle Wong's recommendation and could see the results very immediately with tightening and firming, and a reduced double chin. Very happy with that, especially. Therapist was also very professional and communicative in what she would proceed to do. Overall, very happy about this 1st experience!

I just did the Dew Mist Facial Treatment. I love how my skin feels and looks good! This is perfect for dull skin that needs super extra moisturizer. It's also recommended for sensitive skin. I'll definitely do it again.

Stop removing bad reviews lol. There hasn’t been good reviews for close to a year! I had been a customer of IDS for 3 years now since 2019, but soon not anymore. My experience with the company had been a disaster in the last 6 months to a year. Firstly, the quality of their products have taken a massive hit. Following reformulation (as I was told over email, but never publicly declared that there was reformulation) of several products, I have exchanged with them so many times β€œfaulty” products. The recent one was a Recovery Serum that smelled SO BAD. It smelled like the fumes of the plastic balloon toy we played as kids. Or like superglue. That kind of pungent smell. Last year, they told me they reformulated the OM and MB. And I exchanged those to the old formula too because the new ones caused breakouts for both me and my mother. Their sunscreen S2 is also problematic as they’re gritty. A simple google search will tell you that gritty sunscreens are ineffective. Secondly, the facial therapist I have either hates me, or is always in a bloody hurry, or uses unnecessary force. In Chinese, δ»–ηš„ζ‰‹εΎˆι‡. The way she swiped and tugged the cotton or muslin cloth under my eye caused PAIN. I had to tell her before she dabbed on my under eye. Had a facial yesterday. Today, my under eye still stings when I put on my eye cream. My skin clearly has abrasions. Initially I wanted to keep quiet about this and let it slide. But it’s one time after another, with no proper explanation or accountability from the company’s end, and the pain on my under eye is really unacceptable. I’m so miserable dealing with this whole company. Timeline of events: 1) In around July/August 2021, I ordered a bunch of products from JYX. I noticed that they smelled different and went on to use them anyway. The most obvious one was Moisture Boost, which caused breakouts for both my mother (mature skin) and I. In the same shipment, the OM smell has also changed and the S2 sunscreens were gritty. (Ineffective??) I’ve been getting mixed answers at best. Initially tell me no reformulation, then admitting to reformulation after I showed them the proof. Until today, talking to some consultants, one said there was reformulation and another said there is no reformulation. I had to shake the bottle. 2) Went for one facial in April 2022. I have a small scar on my face with scar tissue. She commented that it was disgusting (in her words, β€œgaowei”). 3) Bought a Recovery Serum 1 Jan 2022. Opened it around May 2022, strong plastic smell. One consultant say it’s the smell of botanical extracts that change from batch to batch, via email I was told for the first time there’s a reformulation. AGAIN! 4) Went for another facial in May 2022. The pulling and tugging of my under eye skin caused stinging up to the next day. All I want is consistent, transparent and truthful communication. I want the truth! Not this kind of half a$$ed lies that don’t make sense. How is anyone supposed to trust you with their faces if you keep mum about reformulations all at the same time (is it cost cutting???) and for the worse and they get NO answers? You can tell yourself anything, and claim that you’re improving your products, but your loss of customers over time will be telling. Only you know. Also, treat your staff better so that they’ll be happy working. Otherwise you get disgruntled unhappy employees representing your company.
