I have liaised with many waterproofing contractors previously. However, IGM managed to leave the best impression for me, the service engineer I'd normally contact, Mr Sean Yep has not only been responsive but also very professional. IGM is the only company I know that brings a moisture detection device along for their site inspections which has managed to impress many of my clients and unit owners. I highly recommend engaging their service for waterproofing works.

Thanks to Eric, very patient & professional. Have been engaging their service for some of our units with bad leakage problem & he was able to identify the main issue & get it resolved for long term (not just temporary fixing), recommended. However, admin/paperwork need to be improved, esp. for regular customer, to be more efficient& flexible.

Updated: We encountered terrible service by their Sales team who had failed to detect and note the recurring seepages (repairs had been done by them for the same areas of concern) and overlooked areas which require interior reinstatement works in early May 2021 in a joint inspection. This has impacted our scope of repairs as MCST relied on their recommendations to submit to Council for approval. In August 2021, IGM proposed another joint inspection after following up with them for a month. Within a few days, they dismissed our existing seepage concern and scope of repairs but strangely counter-offerred to do a site inspection with the following condition stated in their email dated 17 August 2021 that they would recommend to the MA should there be any 'new' seepages' and 'new areas affected by new seepages' in exchange for our consent to allow them to start work. Clearly, both the Sales team and the site manager tried to cover up for each other and we saw through their gaps in their management. There was no 'miscommunication' as clarified on 22 June 2022, a year after the event. They have inadvertently provided the secondary evidence and acknowledged that they were at fault for the failed joint inspection exercise in May 2021. Although they are BCA certified Water Intrusion Specialist, they have not acted professionally above the common complaints against the contractors. Instead, they had hindered our repair process and had caused much time and confusion by going back and forth on joint inspection to re-inspection and then back to joint inspection. And finally they pushed the responsibility to us to address descrepancies on the seepages with the MA. They said they are only responsible for fulfilling the approved work order and not to answer any questions on why they failed to detect recurring seepages and areas affected even though we had reported to the MCST and updated them that the seepage conditions have since deteriorated further. We were notified this week that they had singly voided the contract last year. We will not remove the above review. It is for the company to review their SOPs, improve on their service quality and regain our trust.

There are 3 aspects for me: (1) leakage problem solved (2) unnecessary headaches (due to lack of comms) (3) redemptions Leakage problem solved - technically & professionally done - thank you. Unfortunately had to go through 2 unpleasant surprises during repair: 1. Last min informed the mirror in the living room may be affected from drilling & workers said only bring plastic - had to quickly call to make sure it's protected well to minimize impact. Sean quickly arranged with workers - covered well with cardboard - solved 2. On the last day, workers left without touching up bottom wall that has ugly water stains - perplexed, I quickly called Sean & insisted, it's a small area after all. Workers came back to do. I complained to the company & gave feedback - above incidents didn't have to happen with a proper communication from the start. Esp no 2 - if touch up could result in different tone and may disappoint customer - discuss with the customer in adv to liaise on the issue - avoid doing it & leave the premises with not-nice-finish is more disappointing. But I should appreciate that Dinesh the team leader quickly reached out followed by Sean. Both apologized & took my feedback well. Sean also put in much better efforts in communication & updates during 2 week follow up after repair. He even followed up during MC day - kudos! Nothing and no one is perfect but they show good resolves to improve the situation - I appreciate & I thank you for a finally good finish.

My house recently got water seepage issue and through my MCST, I got to know Wilson from IGM. He quickly identify the issue and provide his professional advice on how i should resolve the water seepage problem. Following his advice, repair works were done on 11/06/22. Till now, there isn't any complain anymore from downstairs neighbour regarding water seepage. Wilson called me few days ago to follow up and ensure everything is good and no outstanding issue. The general worker that came over to my house to do the job is also a very patient and friendly guy. He never rush or do half past six job, he make sure everything is done properly. He even went the extra mile of going through and explaining to me what he have done for the repair at the end of everything. Will definitely engage their service and recommend them to my family and friends whenever necessary in future.

IGM Water Intrusion Specialists were responsive & helpful, able to use their proprietary technology to quickly identify the root cause of a difficult water leakage problem in our condo unit & fixed it where several contractors could not. Especial kudos to Gavin from IGM who provided fast & excellent service in overseeing everything from start to finish. Would highly recommend IGM to anyone to help resolve their water leakage issues.
