I would like to share my experience with Dr. Alicia throughout my journey with her so far. I've had chronic Gastro-Intestinal issues, which were misdiagnosed (or) deemed psychological by some of the western medicines, and hence I've been living with those unique symptoms for years now. I tried many different medicines such as Western medicine, TCM, Ayurveda and Homeopathy, where it couldn't be treated completely. Temporarily the symptoms would seem to go away, but they would be back the moment I stop taking medicines. And hence, I knew I had to do something about it. After a comprehensive research, I stumbled upon the Functional Medicine/Naturopathy and IgniteHeal, and I'm SO SO thankful to God that I did, as it's very rare to find a wonderful doctor like Dr. Alicia! I've been under the detox regimen suggested by Dr. Alicia for about 3+ weeks now. When it comes to Naturopathy, there is no immediate miracle medicine to cure the ailments the second after you take the medicines. You need to let the herbs do the magic over a period of time. And, more often than not, for GI issues, you may need to get worse before you feel better. This was really the case for me - as the first 3 weeks were almost hellish, as I could see so much garbage being purged out of my body. But it's these 3 hellish weeks that showed the real worth of a gem like Dr. Alicia. She's not money minded, and genuinely caring for her patients, attentive to details (super thankful to her especially for this, as this was discarded by those half-baked western doctors that it's a "psychological symptom", whereas she really understood what I was going through, word-by-word), comprehensive in her explanations/medicine prescriptions (you'll know why you're taking each medicine that she's prescribing and what it does), and very knowledgeable (this is evident from her years' of experience and the way she approaches to tackle patient's symptoms). So back to my hellish weeks, in the last 3 weeks, it was a real roller coaster ride, and Dr. Alicia stayed with me each and every day, helped to tweak the medicines slightly along the way, as each and everyone responds to medicines differently. And you need experienced doctor like Dr. Alicia to sail through the 'worse/stormy' days to get past and see the rainbow days. After 3 weeks of purging so many rubbish, I'm starting to feel better - And I owe this to Dr. Alicia's kind and patient help throughout my journey. Unlike other doctors who are done with the patients after each consultation, and very money-minded, it's extremely rare to find a gem-of-a-doctor like Alicia! You can trust her to work her magic on you to cure even the worst symptoms that are untreatable by those mainstream medicines. I would definitely recommend Dr. Alicia to anyone & any time for her wonderful support and guidance, travelling together with the patients in their journey towards a cure! We used to fly up to Brisbane when Alicia was practicing from her clinic up there. We are a bit sad that she has moved a bit further away from us as seeing her in person cures half the illness ?
