If you’re a fan of charred, fatty, sweet and savoury char siew, give this stall a try. My perfect bite is some rice topped with char siew and charred bits.
Request for your preferred (fatty) cuts, otherwise uncle will give you the safer, less fatty cuts.

First time try this food stall and to my disappointment, the char siew meat was abit hard, very very lean meat ( well unless you like it ) The Roasted pork skin is CRISPY...BUT....the meat was hard. Both are the same. Hard and dry. I went there with high expectation. So never ever base on 100% of all the very positive reviews. Got to TRY IT yourself first. Well good thing the Food Price is affordable.

Not impressed with the duck and char siew.
Duck was pretty dry but had enough fatty portion so not sure why. Taste of duck was pretty much normal as I would get in other normal stalls.
Char siew was not up to my expectations but it was definitely better than run of the mill type. The charred parts were pretty good.
Saving grace for me was the sausage which had the right amount of fats. Very yummy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken Wing, Char Siew, Sausage. Colouring or presentation can be very important. For example, I went to this roast meat stall having read about its char siew and some mention on their chicken wing but I decided to add chicken wings and sausage upon seeing these on display. Pretty decent roast meat that I reckon is a hidden find.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sio yok is apt. Char siew is sweet but the taste is OK. Not sure if it's charcoal roasted but the char taste is quite decent. The only complain I have is the rice but other than that the chili was spicy and tangy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered $4 plate with Sio Bak and Char Siew with oil rice. Portion is decent.
- Sio Bak is very good, crispy skin and savoury with right proportion of fats and lean meat.
- Char Siew pales on comparison, too sweet to my liking.
- Chilli dipping sauce is good, right balance of acidity.
- Skip the oil rice, no aroma and fragrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Added the veggies myself. didn't give a dumpling but the guy right before me got 2 and ordered the same thing. That guy also got to cut in front of me after I ordered so they must know him. Don't like how they treat customers differently but guess that is normal. Char siew is super dry and lacks flavor. The roast pork was ok had good crispy skin but will not come back. Noodles are not bad but soup is just water. Waste of time coming here.
