There was a long queue (at 11.45 am today) when we were there to try their signature Nasi Ayam Penyet $6 (650 Calories). Customers were allowed to choose chicken breast or chicken drumstick. We opted for drumsticks. The drumsticks were crispy and tender without being oily. The batter bits were crispy and tasty. The chilli sambal sauce enhanced the taste of the chicken, fried tofu and rice. The cucumber helped to balance the richness. The soup was a bit salty and it tasted like soto soup. Could be better if the soup is less salty. The sellers were friendly and helpful to customers requests. Portion was large. Value for money. Worth trying

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thought it was okay - the chicken is still tender and the batter is very crispy. Well marinated. They also give out those crispy bits which were nice. However, I found it way too overpriced. And the soup was extremely salty. Chilli was okay taste wise but not spicy enough. The beancurd was a little bit too hard and dry. If it had been soft inside, it would have been much better.
