β β β β β Great Korean food at this clean and modern Korean restaurant at Peck Seah Street (Tanjong Pagar). Highly recommended the Tangsuyuk which is sweet and sour pork with sticky rice.
The lunch set is $49 is good for 3 pax if you are a small eater.

β β β β β Came across this restaurant by chance and since it was 5pm and it opened with a short queue, we thought we'd try this out.
We had tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), jjajang myeon, army stew, and steamed egg. All are very delicious and and portions are quite huge.
There were alot of koreans/korean families that dined in here (probably a sign of approval that it's legit tasty korean food).
Gotta come early else you gotta queue. The boss/manager was very nice, when the queue outside started to grow, he put out some fans for them as it's a very hot summer right now.
A must try ??

β β β β β Went there without reservation for a late lunch and there was a semi long queue outside. Initially had wanted to give up considering the length of the queue but we decided to just try.
Thankfully, the people inside the restaurant had also started to finish their meal. Waited for about 10 to 15 minutes outside the shop and another 10 inside.
We ordered Set A because it came with tangsuyuk, jjajangmyeon and jjampong. Then we added a seafood pancake. We were in a party of 4 pax. The portions were good, and we were very full after that.
Staff are friendly and efficient.

β β β β β Delicious Korean food but be prepared to queue. Side dishes complemented the main dishes.
Set for 2 can easy feed 3 if you are small eaters. Will be back to try other food!

β β β β β Had the Jjajangmyeon with fried egg, Tteokbokki, Kimchi Pancake with Original Rice Wine (Makgeolli)!!!
Definitely better than obba in terms of flavour for the Jjajangmyeon but portion is smaller (still a decent amount. Just that obba's is huge).
Kimchi pancake was good as well!!! Could compete with Wang Dae Bak's.
Tteokbokki was a let down compared the rest...
Ambience wise is very bright and refined! Queue can get quite long at peak hours to come quick!

β β β β β Good restaurant. Friendly and great service. Good food. Taste of real nice Korean food in Singapore. There is some set, can just order that and top up alacarte dishes.

β β β β β Had quite a number of dishes at this place. Personally I loved the cosy ambience, the attentiveness of the staff and also how nostalgic it was. For some reason, it reminded me of the Russian restaurant at far east shopping center.
The jjajeong noddles were springy, with the right amount of sauce and it's rich in flavor.
The pancake had lots of seafood and was fragrant and crispy.
Also had the dumplings and sweet and sour pork.
I would come back here again for sure. Do make reservations beforehand.

β β β β β Fantastic Korean cuisine with a Chinese twist. Still, approved by my Korean colleague and customer! Enjoyed all the dishes, and the service was fast and friendly. No shortage of So-mek! Great in the private rooms, allows for good connecting, either with customers or friends. Highly recommended and not too pricey.
