★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor service. Went at a very quite time. Waiter would rather stock the fridge than to take orders from me. Ask for a menu got snapped back they don't have physical menu anymore. Then subsequently pretended to ignore our table...
Walked out mid meal because it was so bad

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is not bad but attitude of their staff really cmi . Arrived at 6.15 but was told to wait until 8 pm for them to put out more tables cause we had 5 pax . Came here twice during covid when there were restrictions and attitude was much better . Guess they probably not desperate for customers now that’s why .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw the BBQ signboard whenever i passed by chinese garden mrt staTion so i was curious and tried.. they have a recommended dish - crispy pork sweet and sour ($16).. it’s really crispy and sauce is nice, the kailan veggie with garlic ($8) is tasty and many. We tried some bbq - pork 2pcs $2) and beef (2pcs $2) the pork is okay while beef is too tough. Not all people may like the marinade used for tHe bbq. We also tried the chinese beer $6 each with more than 500ml per bottle (4%alcohol). We also ordered 2 servings of rice (two bowl, $1 each). Overall cost is $42 + gst yeah a bit costly for a neighbourhood food shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I must first say that we have seen some really nice touches in terms of service when we were there, providing fan - at the preferred fan speed, providing recommendations and overall friendly waiter.
? However, the food is really sub-par for what they are serving. Dried chilli chicken is more like a popcorn, and it wasn’t at all spicy. BBQ skewers are a recipe for hair loss. And they definitely took egg fried rice too literally.
? Other than the beer which is rather cheap (4 bottles for $20, or $6 each), the remaining are priced at market value.
Probably won’t return due to the quality of the food served..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place to go for DongBeiCai (Northeastern China Cuisine) in Jurong East, opposite the Chinese Garden MRT.
Grilled Lamp a tag too salty on its own, but it goes well with the Snow Beer. Braised Pollack is chewy and savoury @ $20 per plate (seasonal dish).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is so bad at this shop. Just lots of MSG and salt. 100% regret coming to this shop because of the long queue at the shop next to them. I mean how can you even make 酸菜鱼 salty instead of sour….and the 肉丝炒面, look at the photo. Challenge you to find the 肉丝. Total rubbish.
