★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yam ring was good! Well fried yam ring was fragrant and melts in the mouth - generous with portion of ingredients too. (Def one of the best yam rings imo)
Assam fish was on offer, quite fresh but a bit tough. Not the best but for the price Its fine.
Pepper chicken soup is also very unique and flavourful. Soup was thick and herbs were not overpowering. Good!
Of all I’ll recommend the yam ring and soup! Will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The economic rice stall got a lot of malaysian AKA Jiu Hu Kia with intimidating demeanour and loudsy sinking service attitude. I was there to buy some takeaway instead of asking in a gentle tone they yelled at me "What do you want". As if I owe them a living. I guess with such poor service and zero professionalism, their stall will close down in no time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered Cereal prawns medium $30 over that was delivered with heads dropped off, almost charred and soggy. Seafood Tofu $13 with no seafood in sight except a pathetic small frozen prawn. It is the worst Zhi Char ever . Price and quality do not aligned up . Absolutely a dissatisfied and disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i was wondering how the staff charge us..i ordered two veg, he charge me $3.80 for afew times, afew days ago i ordered three veg, a lady charge me $2.70, and is the same type of veg.. i even heard a elderly confront the cashier asking why so expensive, then the staff reply, sorry count wrong 50cent.. is the staff pocketing our money? as i was not the first time being charge differently for the same kind of meat or veg..is there a standard pricing, or the pricing is according to the staff mood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gave 3 stars cos i had included an overall experience with the environment and also service, outlet is Overloaded with orders and understaffed. Be prepared to wait 30 mins for food when seated. Also, not forgetting queuing to get a table. Very popular ‘zi char’ amongst the neighbourhood. As I had been patronising this stall for over 8 years, in short, Be patient and shall be rewarded a nice meal. Definitely not going when i have hunger pangs cos as a saying goes ‘hungry man is an angry man’. ?

People are crossing the road to get to nearby bus stop or buying supper not looking at them.

Environment is much better. Place is alao much cleaner.
The food served is reasonably priced. Quality of food is within expectations.
Probably after so many bad reviews, management has put an emphasis to ensure customers have at least a wonderful dining experience.
