Restaurant opens at 10:45 sharp for first seating. Crowd formed outside before that but still insistent on starting at that timing sharp. Servers and waiters inside were very prompt with clearing plates, refilling drinks and serving food. Kudos to this navy blue long shirt guy for being really fast. For reference we had the dim sum buffet. Food was served promptly upon seating. On first bite itโ€™s pretty decent, but no actual wow factor. Some dishes are a tad too salty. The roasted Peking duck had crispy skin, but not like your higher end restaurant standard. A bit โ€œLao Hongโ€ in a sense, difficult to chew off at first bite. Dim sum is slightly better quality than your coffeeshop fare but not really restaurant standards IMO. But for the price paid $28++ and additional $2.50 for tea, I guess itโ€™s as good as it can get. Desserts are a nice finish, but donโ€™t expect it to be full of ingredients. Just two miserable mini cubes of mango and no peach gum inside my bowl of dessert. Do skip the prawn fritters with mango, most gelat and vomit inducing item on menu. Will I return? Probably not. Price is good for one try.

Very tasty dim sum and chinese food, good service as well. Probably the only gripe was the sharkfin that was a small bowl but same price as Thai village.

I was here to try the weekend brunch Tim sum buffet @ $35++/pax.There were quite a handful of dishes that was tasty ,roasted chicken w/tangerine peel, stir fry sliced beef with golden garlic, pan fried iberico spare ribs with teriyaki sauce, fried carrot cake with XO sauce, crisp fried prawn roll with mango. The chilled mango cream w/pomelo & sago dessert is my standout food from this restaurant, but the steamed bak kut teh Xiao long bao was a tad salty , otherwise the taste will be just right. worth coming back

Decided to try this place for dim sum hearing some good reviews. Was unable to book a table day before as was told itโ€™s fully booked which I believe itโ€™s due to weekend dim sum buffet brunch promo. Tried on Sun and managed to secure a table due to cancellation. We are small eaters and also advised by very kind Mr Ho that we should just do a la carte. Food :- we only had dim sum, mostly good e.g. beancurd skin roll (่…็šฎๅท๏ผ‰ har gao, truffle mushroom dumplings ๏ผˆwe could not get 2nd order as it was sold out) ๆตๆฒ™ๅŒ… took forever to arrive although we asked to serve later. We had to ask 2x after they chased us for last order. Preserved egg porridge, Siu mai, carrot cake is normal. Cha siew bao is non-event ( just too sweet) Ambience : Quite spacious ( a bit noisy) Service : - Besides the soft spoken and polite Mr Ho, our โ€˜experienceโ€™ was marred by a grouchy server lady whoโ€™s mostly โ€˜barkedโ€™ at us or just โ€˜rolled eyesโ€™ at us without responding. The first thing she said when taking orders: โ€˜You have to leave by 12:45!โ€™ We know, weโ€™ve agreed when coming in at 11:30 and we are not doing a la cart buffet. At 12 noon, we were asked to give our last order. At 12:30, our ๆตๆฒ™ๅŒ… arrived and we asked to add 1 item for takeaway, we were glared at! Thankful for a lovely Sunday out with family, left with a bad taste.

Great experience! Felt cosy yet really professional service. Had the buffet. Food intricately prepared and served, can tell ingredients were not skimped on. Had much more food than I had taken pics of, too irresistable! Reserve early!

Food and service at Jia He is superb! Mr Ho and his team not only provided the best service, his food recommendations were spot on! Kudos to the chefs for dishing out really tasty and innovative dishes. Not to forget the presentation was also tastefully done! One of the best meals i had (from a person that has eaten at many michelin star restaurants in many cities the world)!

Had the weekend dim sum with family. Staff were attentive, although some items took longer to serve. Some hits and misses with the food. Mains were good, albeit can only select 3. Dim sum was delicate and delectable. Mains and desserts can be skipped - not nice. Wet wipes and drinks are chargeable at additional prices
