Nest at One Farrer - 1 Farrer Park Station Rd

Was a guest of the hotel in 2019 and had high hopes for the food at The Nest. I was definitely not disappointed and the guest I brought was completely floored by the experience. Service was top notch, the same or even better than my experience as a hotel guest in 2019, and I will definitely bring family and friends to enjoy a quiet space to dine and chat. Kudos to the manager and team for the perfect dining experience!

The concept behind Nest is to create a homey, private dining experience by converting their hotel rooms on the 20th floor as such. We were here for Valentine’s and the setting was cozy and intimate, we opted to sit next to each other as the table was quite big (apparently custom made for social distancing) and you can request to tone down the lighting. Fronted by sincere and affable staff, Benjamin the manager trainee is very likeable and has great attention to detail. He explained every dish and to our pleasant surprise, even brought out custom bread with our names on it which we could bring home if we couldn’t finish. That personal touch really kickstarted a wonderful experience for us. Our 5 course Japanese Fusion experience was delicious and of quality. Seafood was fresh and beef brisket done really well. Our favourite was the Kombu White Clam Broth. The 5 course menu added up to be a substantial portion. Was told that the menu changes from time to time eg. Nespresso Fusion menu in March. Would we come back again? Based on the ? service, food and private room ambience. It’s a resounding yes from us :)

Hands down one of the most unique experiences you’d ever get to enjoy - 4 course dining in a private hotel room with great views overlooking the suburb of Little India, with excellent service from the staff, all at a reasonable price.

The success of this transformation can only be attested by once again being sold out! Courtesy of the Amazing General Manager, Gilbert Madhavan and the Culinary talent of Chef Marcus, we enjoyed the privilege of an exquisite Luncheon, joined by Executive Chef KK, and Dr. Timothy Low, CEO of Farrer Park Hospital, nothing could go wrong! The wines, the Sparkling Sake & the Wonderful Red, 2nd wine of Leoville Poyferre, fitted real well, courtesy of Chef KK, was super nice! Food wise, the Scallops were perfectly cooked, wrapped in dried ham, flavours that impressed! The Jerusalem Artichoke Veloutè, was superbly smooth, the “Cannelloni” actually filo dough roles with a supreme filling was a perfect soup! The Wagyu Steak, a tad chewy, but flavour wise clean, and enjoyable! One note to chef, please don’t overdo it with the truffle oil, I know it’s a craze here in SG, but a tad too much! Loved the Mont Blanc dessert Interpretation, skilfully executed, a wonderful finish to a great meal! Thank you to the exceptional service team! I've decided to take my mom there to celebrate mother's day due to all the good reviews I've read. We've selected the 4 course menu to try out, food was nicely prepared and presented, service was excellent, all in a private room for just the 2 of us. I've ordered some dishes which needed to pay extra but it was worth it. Thanks to the servicing staff and Nest for providing us this special experience and we will be happy to come back to try out your new menu when it becomes available.

This is without a doubt one of the most under-the-radar places to dine in Singapore. Came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday and I think both of us agreed that we will remember this experience for a long time. Where else can you dine in a completely private space with a luxurious ensuite bathroom, at this price? Service was very good. Food was interesting. My two cents feedback is that the four spot lighting on the dining table is a tiny bit too harsh. Some rechargeable table lamps or warmer lighting would be perfect. Also, my first and second dish came in the exact same terracotta-colour plate. Other than these tiny little things, it was a perfect dining experience and I will definitely be back again with more people! :D
