★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Preiswert und gut: Das Hotel liegt im chinesisch geprägten Viertel Katong. Ich habe dort mehrmals im November 2013 übernachtet. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen, man läuft ca. 10 Minuten zur MRT Aljunied und fährt dann nochmal 15 Minuten ins Zentrum. Dafür ist die Unterkunft unschlagbar günstig. Es gibt absolut nix zu bemängeln, die Zimmer sind sauber, ruhig und gut ausgestattet, wenn auch etwas klein, aber das nimmt man bei dem Preis gerne in Kauf. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dort in der näheren Umgebung kann man auch sehr gut und preiswert essen.
Good value and good: The hotel is located in the Chinese quarter of Katong. I stayed there several times in November 2013. It is very quiet, you walk about 10 minutes to the MRT Aljunied and then again 15 minutes to the center. But the accommodation is unbeatably cheap. There is absolutely nothing to complain about, the rooms are clean, quiet and well equipped, if a little on the small side, but you will gladly accept that at the price. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There in the surrounding area you can also eat very well and inexpensively.
