Jovis Cafe - The Dining Place - 104 Faber Dr

A cosy n warm restaurant, great to bring friends and children here, it's very children friendly (withtoys for them too). Now I wld like to compliment the kitchen, even though they are shorthanded, orders take a while to come, BUT the quality of food exceeded my expectations. 5 adults with 4 toddlers running around, we don't have time to take nice photos of all the food. The pizzas, pastas, mac & cheese, chicken wings etc are even better than some Italian eateries I've been to. Kudos Jovis ???

Nice, relaxing and chillax restaurant situated nicely in West Coast. Food Ordered fish and chips - fish is the biggest dory I came across in any restaurant. Chicken chop was nice, well portioned! Ambience Instagram worthy - bring along your camera! Even to the toilet! ;)

Getting there can be confusing if you are unfamiliar with the area but the cafe decor pretty and great for photos. Food was good overall. We ordered the mushroom baked rice which while nice, could have been better with a little more sauce. The desserts were satisfying and we really enjoyed them. However, the staff was not very friendly towards us and had a poor attitude so would have been nice if the service was better.

Really pretty cafe amidst the industrial setting where one can get some greenery respite from the urban settings - for 90min that is. I suppose the place can get hogged by patrons who just like to do their work inside considering the instagrammable setting which makes for beautiful background and pictures but I was there on a weekday morning and there were still many tables available. Food was OK. I wished cafes would be more innovative of their menus because they are pretty much all the same, right down to the ingredients. The waffle which was recommended was a little too moist on the inside for my liking maybe others might like such type. Coffee... Can be improved but I couldn't stand businesses charging for water albeit it being free flow thereafter. I mean how much water can one consume in 90min. Overall it is a nice place to be, wouldn't go there just for the food/drinks but I suppose I will return if I am ever in the area.

Surprise find! Cozy place with reasonably priced food! Mac&Cheese and Chicken Chop are very tasty! Chicken curry serving is big, can be shared by 2 pax. Tiger beer at $6 per 330ml mug. Combo fried chicken for sharing, fiery wings and honey mustard! Will definitely b back to try the dessert! If you come at peak hour, gotta wait awhile, so come prepared ?

This is such an endearing cafe. The service is crew is very patient and the food comes in heart portions as well. I had Mom's Chicken Curry (and a beer...which kinda worked out in a strange sorta way) and was pleasantly surprised but how homey it tasted. It's the runny kind rather than the thick kind, which goes perfectly with the lightly toasted serving of baguette. The cafe plays gentle instrumental music and the operators are very friendly and flexible. Do pop by this quaint neighborhood cafe for a chill afternoon with the folks or if you crave unpretentious and heartwarming food.

The ambience is really nice and cozy, also like how they serve cold water with slight lemon taste. Wanted to order Mummy’s Curry but not available so ordered Chicken Chop instead and it was really good! Better than most places and I suspect the black pepper is freshly made. It’s so good! Also ordered pistachio chocolate cake. I’m very particular with chocolate cakes and I’m happy this one is good and chocolatey! Though can’t taste much from the pistachio part but overall we like it (: No GST and service charge. Strongly recommended! (:

Nice decor, nice food, nice music. The portions are quite big. Price is quite friendly. The food is yummy too. Chicken used in the curry and in the chicken chop meal tastes fresh with no frozen smell. Juicy and tender too.
