Ah Hua Teochew Fishball Noodle is located among the Pandan Gardens Estate and they are known for their freshly handmade fish balls & meat balls from scratch. Not only that, even their chili paste is done by their own recipe, thus you will not find anywhere with exact taste. The nondescript looking bowl of Mee Tai Mak packs full of flavour. Simply love the quality made items that comprises of more of fish meat than flour. The fish balls are indeed bouncy and fresh without any fishy smell. The chili is simply awesome and tasty, blending in well with the noodles. Sometimes, the order can be quite confusing for some as some of the menu item do not allow chilli / tomato but only vinegar. Nevertheless, our favourite order is still the combination of chili with tomato ketchup. Noodles like Mee Kia / Mee Pok is skillfully cooked to Al Dente texture. Even so that these were packed food, the noodle still tastes as good after sometime. It really make me drools upon looking at these bowls of noodles again. Finally get to dine in after the P2HA period as we always do take away and did not get to taste their soup. The soup is sweet and has a distinctive "Cai Poh" (Preserved Radish) taste. The noodles are simple topped with spring onions, bean sprouts and some minced meat. If you are looking traditionally homemade Teochew Fishball and meatballs with self made chilli paste. Ah Hua Teochew Fishabll Noodles is not to be missed. When we get to dine in, we get to order some special drinks like these refreshing Ice Jelly too. To be honest, I'm not a fan of Fish balls noodle and often I will choose other meals instead of fishball noodles if I'm in Hawker or Coffeeshops but Ah Hua Teochew Fishball Noodles is an exception to me.

Ordered the normal fishball meepok ($4), went there on a weekend morning, full house, had to wait but it was a short one. The doneness of the noodle is a little towards the softer side, and the sauce gives a hint of sourness and spiciness, not whole lot of flavour like the other stalls out there. The soup is slightly more salty, probably intentionally to compliment the mildly noodle. Fishball is soft and bouncy, was told that these are handmade which you can tell off the bat that they're very different from the factory made. Overall the flavours are quite well balance, not too overpowering, but I prefer mine abit more sour vinegarish. Would recommend anyone to drop by after your morning jog at Pandan Reservoir!

Very good noodles texture, I especially like the chilli that have that very very authentic 70s and 80s type of feeling and flavour! My portion was $5 and its worth it.

Ordered mee gia noodles dry spicy w added black vinegar at 8am+, no queue. Waited 5-10min for my order to be ready. This stall serves its noodles and ingredients separately. Fishballs and sliced fishcake were served in a bowl of soup. The fishballs were light and yummy (no fishy taste). After this bowl, I now know I would enjoy better when ingredients are served together in a bowl with the noodles and sauce. Noodles was cooked just right. Taste of sauce was good. Though I would prefer for the sauce to be spicier. I added chilli padi and the spice was just right. I like it that their sauce is not the sweet type, it's the savoury type that I prefer. Amount was ok for a $5 bowl, with all the inflation going on. Amount of MSG in soup might be a little too much for my body to handle. My body numb and ache came up just as I was walking towards the car park. Overall, still a bowl of decent savoury fishball noodles.

I’m not a fishball lover; I hardly touch them. But when I do recommend fishballs, they would be above quality ones. Decent handmade fish balls. The fish balls and meat balls were fresh, soft yet bouncy. Not overly cooked (no bubbles formed in the fishballs). The noodles were good, but if the chilli sauce was more fragrant, it would have been excellent. The ingredients were all handmade and good tasting. Wait was a little longer than usual, thus a 4 star. I don’t think it’s right to rate this place based on customer service. It’s called AH HUA fishball noodles for a reason. The β€œah lian” style is a selling point. So if ah hua β€œtao” you, it’s part of the entire experience… maybe you are not β€œyan dao” enough or you are not her β€œcai”. Joking! Do try it yourselves!

Every mouth - from the meepok to the fishballs to the soup to the other stuff in the soup etc, everything tasted awesome! Love the chilli (and yes, I added more vinegar) and homemade ingredients in the soup! The noodles were perfect (not the overcooked kind) too! So glad I ordered medium... my tummy is full and so is my heart!

It's heartwarming to know that the balls, dumplings etc are all handmade, and you can tell with each soft and tender bite of the fishballs. I personally prefer fishballs that have more bounce but I still left satisfied. The star is the signature bee tai mak, be sure to try that! The meekia was alright, I've had much better. Thankfully we arrived early on a weekday (1120) and didn't need to queue. As we finished the queue started to form, so do come early to avoid waiting!

I ordered the large portion at $8 as shown in the photo. The wait for one bowl of noodles is about 30mins during a weekday lunch time. The taste of noodles is acceptable, texture of noodles is just right for me. It includes a small abalone which nothing much to comment as it should be canned abalone. The meatball is made with mixture of fish paste I supposed, unlike those ready made type. Their meatball, fishball, fish dumpling are very soft and tender with light and fresf flavourful taste. Prawn paste is packed strong prawn flavour but quite common as other places. Worth the wait if you are not going for just a quick meal.
