The quality has degraded. The meat in Biriyani is very dry and rice is over cooked. Lost its flavour.

One of the better briyani we have had for some time and it was a random find as the outside looked unassuming. Was spicy and flavourful. Good papadums too! There on a Saturday noon and it wasnt crowded.

Pallipalayam chicken is the worst (basically they provided chicken from gravy fried on pan with curry leaves and 2 dry chili. Chili was not broken and spice was not in and there were no pieces of coconut.

Chicken biriyani was well prepared. Mutton biryani tastes good, mutton is cooked nice. Their Mutton kola urundai is tastes good, 4 mutton kola/balls at that snack's price. They need to improve naan, the roti naans were burnt. They charge high, so have to maintain good quality. They could have thrown the bad ones and made me a new naan, that would have made me happy (this was a take away so couldn't check at restaurant). Though the butter chicken was good. Accessible from Farrer park MRT.

Just a short walk from Farrer Park MRT station, Jr.Kuppanna serves pretty awesome flavours at fair prices. I was served some crisp and fresh poppadoms shortly after i ordered. The $4.50 mango lassi was pretty darn awesome and had the right amount of sweetness for me. The JK special mutton biriyani priced at $14 was big enough for 3 portions! More importantly, flavours and texture were absolutely great. The mutton was also pretty tender. I loved this dish a lot, but wished they could've recommended me a smaller one since I was dining alone. The $9 Vanjiram Fish Tawa Fry was a pleasant surprise for me. It didn't seem like much when it was served, but it packs a lot of flavour, and the whole fillet was so fresh, moist, and tender. Would definitely recommend this one. It was a lot of good food, and I'm glad I could finish everything. The brand has been around for 60 years, and I'd love to see them stay on till 100!

Authentic Konganadu cuisine in Singapore. 2 minutes walk from Holiday Inn Little India.The atmosphere is very homely and the owners take special interest attending the guests. Dinner started with delicious crab soup after I enjoyed mutton biryani ,the pieces of tender lanmb were of Australian origin.The mutton curry was also awesome which I ate with egg Apam and ghee roast egg dosa. Dinner ended with tender coconut payasam. WOW,it was a treat.

Junior kuppanna is a name for kongu speciality and although, the native flavours are not completely evident, the restaurant comes close to getting them right. Definitely a distinct kongu food experience offered in Singapore, which is pretty hard to find. The winner is the special mutton biryani, and next comes the dry chicken chukka. Definitely a must try, however the parotta was a bit too stretchy, and could have been accompanied by a gravy more thick in consistency. They give what is called thanni curry, which actually goes really well with a soft textured porotta. Mutton kola urundai is well priced so that everyone can give it a try. It's usually a higher priced item in other restaurants. Overall, a good kongu special food. 4/5 in my books for taste.

Loved the Seeraga samba mutton Briyani.. Comes with 2 types of curry, egg, and raita. The briyani was aromatic and rich in flavour. The carrot halwa was tasty, especially like the fact that the the sweetness was not overwhelming. Finished the meal with a classic filter coffee. The staff are attentive and courteous.
