★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A niche piece of Singapore history and railway line from Bukit Timah to Jurong. It’s a good photo-op now and beautiful reminder of nature taking back control. There is ongoing repair or maintenance work. I hope we can step back and see how things have progressed over the years using this memorabilia. (Also, the tunnel is just behind Opp Maju Camp bus stop and not here.) There are more tracks on the opposite side that can be accessed vi Sunset way pedestrian bridge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to do hiking: start from the tunnel near SUSS @Clementi Rd, get thru the Maju Forest by follow around half mile abandoned rails. such a challenging but short hiking experience bcos no built path at all. The trail will lead you to Sunset way estate for now have to end at the Jurong rail truss bridge over ulu pandan waterway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An icon of itself. Nestled in the heart of Sunset Way. It brought back nice NS memories when my former camp in Ulu Pandan was right opposite the bridge. Happy to be back again after 20 years!
