Generous portion! I find the amount of rice served too much for me. Great taste and friendly server.

Not all vegetarian made equal. Over priced and curry puffs are double fried. Bought 4 curry puffs and 3 tempei and was charged $7.50z

Economy brown rice w 3 vege + free soup @$4, had my fav coffee bao $0.70 from other stall n hot Milo.

EDIT: They've changed management many times at this point, and the prices have increased to 4.50 per plate for the same meal as before. The food is still tasty with filling portions, and it's a good option for vegetarians in this area, they have 2 kinds of curry and 2 kinds of chilli which I appreciate, since I'm Indian (Depending on who's working there, do look out for what the seller is doing though, sometimes they'll conveniently forget you brought your own box and charge you for packaging, they'll give you tiny portions if you're not watching, etc. It helps if you speak at least a little Chinese, they can't overcharge you and act like they don't understand (previous employee). In one of the previous iterations the seller pretended to fill up the bowl with rice but only filled the side that's facing you while the other side of the bowl was empty, and having to argue and watch every single time was incredibly frustrating, but at least that person doesn't work there anymore. ) Old review: Went there earlier today with my family, they were fully stocked even in the evening. We had white rice with 3 sides, a total of $10 for 3 meals, which was an extremely reasonable price. Portion sizes were perfect, not too large or small and the food was tasty and simple. It was a very pleasant experience. Also appreciated that the seller spoke English.

Great vegetarian food at a very affordable price. Lots of variety in the selection. Typical meal with 4 different dishes is around $4. As an English-only speaking vegetarian, it is nice not to have to question the hawker about whether there are bits of minced meat hidden among the vegetables! Not sure how healthy the food is. Most dishes probably contain quite a bit of oil, except for e.g. steamed broccoli which is usually available. Also, this stall says it uses healthier oils so at least there’s that ? Some other things I appreciate about this place are its long opening hours, friendly staff and the effort made by maintenance staff to clear tables quickly. Tables are usually cleared and cleaned immediately after people finish their meals, helping to keep the hawker center tidy.
