Came to visit the 2nd shop @ Paya Lebar. Didn’t try the one in Bukit Timah but honestly, I had a good meal here. Service was decent (& a server even asked how was the food - which, I didn’t expect to be asked in such settings), food was good and price is reasonable. Not a big Korean fan but le husband wanted to try the Shabu-shabu. He said it was good enough - for the price paid (he’s a beef person) and we both were surprised that it came with Spicy Chicken. Personally preferred to grill my chix but if you only ordered steamboat, you can’t get the grill function. Oh! I like kimchi and I love their kimchi. Wished there were anchovies though. Haha. Overall, I would say it was a good first time experience. They adhere to the SMM and hopefully can bring along my friends to eat there. Oh. I didn’t ask about the toilet but I’m quick to judge so I’d say ask at your own risk. Haha. Cheers!

Hearty meal for 2 (couldn’t finish, but they allow takeaway) We had the octopus (~$31.80) and Chicken jajangmyeon ($6) If you’re a spicy food or seafood lover, the soup will not disappoint! (but may not be suitable for those who can’t take spice, it’s akin to Samyang level almost). Tons of octopus (large hearty chunks), and some thin beef shabu-style slices inside as well. Flavour is more on the peppery side, letting it boil a bit longer was the key for us in depending the flavour. It comes with a side of onion, radish and lettuce kimchi (these were a bit salty for my taste). You can also choose 2 carbs eg. Ramen/Maggi/Rice First time trying Jajangmyeon because it’s difficult to find halal ones in SG. Not sure if this is what it’s supposed to taste like, but it was yummy. Bits of meat in the sauce as well. Chicken could be grilled a bit more (cooked through, but skin was still white). Good value dish We didn’t need to reserve, but it was fully packed at about 7.30-7.45pm (we arrived about 7.15). Approach the staff for seating (not free seating as some are reserved, and the staff will also need to take your order)

Had lunched here for the first time after a tip-off from my sis. The kimchi was fresh and The gochujang sauce was tasty. We ordered the Char-Beef Steamboat set. The beef broth was rich and such an umami bomb! It was accompanied with beef slices, generous portion of mince beef, chicken slices, inoki mushroom and shitake mushroom. We also had the Grilled Tako (Octopus) which was grilled just right and the dipping sauce was really good. As recommended, we ordered the Grilled Beef set too. The beef pieces were succulent and juicy. It was worth salivating for! The prices were reasonable too! We’ll certainly return again to satisfy our craving for Korean food!

Came to this plc by chance. First time here, service and food is excellent! Order the busan seafood steamboat with grill sotong and grill beef. The combination was extremely awesome, the beef was tender and delicious. The grill sotong, make me speecheless. Both me & my wife enjoyed our dish! The only sad about this plc, they only accept cash, paynow or paylah. And no dessert. Otherwise, I would have rated it 5star. For now it will be 4.5stars from me. We will definitely come back and recommend to our friends and family.

We ordered the JW Tako in Busan and it was absolutely delicious. Grilled beef and chicken were tender and juicy. Grilled squid was sweet. At first, we were lost because the menu wasnt explained to us. We had to ask the potion size etc. Other than that, service was good especially from the friendly Malay server who sent the food as quickly as he could. I think the down side is the limited parking but it is not an issue during the weekend. Overall we had a good dining experience.

We are always here for their signature sweet sauce grilled beef and squid. (Must try if you haven’t) We chance upon their new menu and ordered steamed seabass & chilli crab. Both turned out to be surprisingly good. Taste superb and FRESH with reasonable price tag. Highly recommended!!!

Nice and comfortable ambience. Food portions just nice. No wastage. Tasty authentic Korean Steamboat. Affordable. Fresh ingredients! Definitely will come again!

Good food, good service. Tried their grilled beef, grilled chicken and the hotpot soup with chicken. Very generous portion for all 3 dishes. Very satisfied and will be back to try out other dishes for sure! Parking around the area is a little limited, but what to do since its near little road?
