★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty decent plate of wanton noodles at $3.80. The noodles are not the generic ones you get at other WTM stalls and the char siew is not bad. There were a lot of wantons in the $3 bowl of wanton soup. But overall standard still lose out slightly to the one at Taman Jurong FC, think the difference lies in the cooking skill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was dispatched to pick up a food order at this location. Upon arrival, I told the man (the eldest of all and only one without uniform) I assumed he was incharge or some kind. I told him the order number is 72. He can't figure out the order and yells what is the order no. I told him 72. He yells again isn't it 072. I reply and say isn't it the same as 72. He got angry and demanded of me. You should say 072. What attitude is this? He literally understood what my order was. He insisted that I say 072. I refused and responded 72. He handed over the order reluctantly and hurled abusive words. I question him why so?
He boils and stares at him. And yell I should say 072 a couple of times. My response is a big No. He understands the order 72 is similar to 072. He confronted me and stepped outside his stall. To prevent myself from being in a confined space if he's to attack me I can take him down with self defense. I lift up my hands in a defensive stance while pivoting a few steps back and command him to stay back and don't come near me. He kept advancing forward and I pivot back and forward while verbally commanding him to stay a distance away. As I don't want to take him down in the event he attacks me. Unless I've no other opinions.
SUbsequently he calmed down a bit. I question him why he uses abusive words and does he not know 072 and 72 seem the same? He ignored my question and insisted I should say 072. I told him No. He condescendingly asked me "Do you know who I am?" I'm curious and chuckle. I reply I don't care who you are, so. He said he would report it to the authorities and kept gesturing. I suppose he is pointing in the direction of the station? I told him to go ahead. I have done Nothing wrong. He'll be the one in trouble. Who hurl abusive language and challenge someone. Then he showed me some kind of card with if I'm not mistaken PAP Logo. SO. I asked him what he implied? I'm under the impression that he wants to prove and show his power and superiority. Ridiculous. He's in the wrong.
He instructed me to leave the coffee shop. I told him go ahead and get the authority here or someone you associate with that he deem with power. It doesn't bother me. I took a seat and waited since I'm Not in the wrong. After a while his staff nudged him back inside the stall. When you order delivery if there's a delay don't put all the blame on us. And also good luck on experience patronizing this stall. It Happened on April 30 @ around 1110hrs. FYI, I'm Not his competitor and I don't know him or the company. Just my pure and honest encounter. I might have some footage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update:
The vanishing queue was probably an indication. Compared to the 1st time, only the noodle is still decent. The ingredients were all pathetic, wanton may not yet look like tissue papers but definitely tasted like one, it's as if they managed to make the wantons look sizeable yet not filling anything inside. Char Siew was also a let down as I was so impressed by it previously, it is now so thinly slice, the portion was maybe only half of last time round.
Surprisingly good for a chain stall especially their char siew as you usually only find this type of quality at Hong Kong Roast stalls that also sells wanton noodles and not at 'pure' wanton noodle stalls. Noodle & wantons were also decent but stall owner rather inflexible as they doesn't allow fried dumplings as an add-on to the noodle rather can only order alacart.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This wanton noodle is pretty good and value for money. The noodles are the springy and egg type, while the seasoning is savory and coated the noodles very well. The char siew slices are not hard and dry, instead tasted pretty good and legit. The wanton filling is well seasoned and skin not too thick. Overall a good bowl to have if you are around the area.
