β β β β β Kanada-Ya opening their 5th outlet in Singapore, located at Century Square.
Now at the new outlet they have a brand-new Seafood Tomato Ramen, limited to 20 bowls per day.
And this is limited to Century Square.
The Seafood Tomato Ramen is made with perfect blend of chicken broth and secret homemade sauce, topped with fresh prawns, mussels, octopus and clams. $20.90 basic and $22.90 regular, $24.90 special.
Also newly launch side dishes includes Seafood Korokke $7.90 and juicy scallops coated with crispy golden crumbs Scallop Katsu $7.90
We also love the Prawn Tempura, Gyoza, which are our all-time go-to dishes here.

β β β β β Delicious, robust and thick soup. Al dente noodles. Soup could have been more because the noodles tend to absorb the soup. So gotta eat it fast.

β β β β β Pleasantly surprised at the quality of ramen at this branch at Tampines. The texture of the noodles were perfect, not too soft and not too hard. The broth is just too little. I couldn't do a kaedama with such little broth. The soup is not hot enough when served as well.
The presentation was good but I recommend serving more broth and a warmer broth. Don't need to plate ramen too well. Ultimately, it's the taste of comfort food.
Servers were new but very friendly. No need to mention ingredients being imported from Japan especially with consumers more concerned about carbon footprint of late. If quality ingredients can be locally sourced, i'd gladly pay the same price.

β β β β β Yuzu Ramen is average only. Noodles is not springy. Takoyaki was on 1for1 offer but quality is mediocre. Service was good, waiters were courteous. Mobile App is unattractive as it requires you to use their e-wallet to enjoy rebates. It is basically a Stored Value Card which you can only use at Kanada-Ya, nowhere else. So you are just providing them with cash flow for their business.

β β β β β The seafood ramen is unique and taste really good. I think itβs worth a try if you are ard the area. However, one of the mussels I had was not cleaned properly. I will still go back to the stall with my friends :)

β β β β β Okay guys this is legit ... pretty unassuming but you get top pretty top level product for "sort of" top dollar. I think pricing is fair considering what all the boys in the city charge. Broth is really flavourful with loads of umami, but still comes across as pretty balanced. My only nitpick is that the quality of the pork I had Don't get me wrong - it was good, but not the best in class. Noodles, broth and nanban were on point!

β β β β β Good ramen and soup. Price was decent, just like any other ramen places. Food took a long time to be served. Staff wasnβt very friendly and they seemed to be understaffed. Perhaps they can let the customer self service and get utensils by themselves instead of spending time to lay it down for them.

β β β β β We went after lunch hour, at 2pm so there is no crowd. Ambience is very Japanese. Ordered Truffle Ramen, Black Garlic Ramen and Matcha Lava Cake. Truffle Ramen soup base is very good and fragrant. The Cha shu is nice, almost melt in your mouth. The Matcha Lava Cake has strong matcha taste and not so sweet, we love it. The staff are friendly, especially the manager who is very warm welcoming. Highly recommended!
