★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No frills swimming complex allowing for efficient disciplined swimming on one hand and some lazy soaking on the other. Tap in and out with ez-link card. Never too crowded and guards are attentative. Place is well run and clean!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great swimming pool facilities. One of the oldest in Singapore but very well maintained. It costs just $1 and $0.40 if you want to use a medium locker. Bring your own towel and soap. They have showers with unheated water only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and quite pool to swim during weekday time. There's a dedicated lane for non-stop lap swimming, at their 50m pool. Facility is old but clean and well maintained. There're many deck chairs for sun tanning near the kids lool.
However, there isn't any F&B outlets nearby to satisfy your hunger after a hard swim session, so better pack some food along.
The pool has this elevated edge all around, so it takes an effort to jump into the pool, and you definitely need to come up through the pool ladder.
Lifeguards can be seen very attentive, definitely a safe place to swim.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a 13hr layover in SIN and decided to come spend a few hours here in the sun. Old school lap pool set up with 2 very shallow pools behind to sit in, which is where i hung out and it was great. Only $1 for entrance, no cash so have to use your metro card. Easy as. They have a few sunbeds and shaded areas to use which was nice, need to bring your own towel. Amenities were old but working fine. All up took around 45 mins from Changi, including the 7 min walk from Montbetten station. An easy alternative to swim and relax in Singapore if you have a long stay. Cheap too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall, it is good but minus a star as the shower on/off tap is ridiculous.
One has to press the shower button and hold it countiously for water to be release. I know it's to save water and etc, but surely even a 1-2 sec delay is good right. It is so frustrating to shower in the restroom; furthermore the strength of the water shower is not strong at all.

You are not going to find another one this old and yet have the vibe of treasure.
Even the renovation is like the 1980s.
Old school way of life feeling.
Overall pleasant to swim.
Take note of the booking in order to swim.
A must come to feel the old school vibe :)

$1.30 per entry on weekends.
Best of all, can use ActiveSG $100 credit. A tad old generally but does the job. No complaints!
They just updated the shower facilities but I've not used it to comment.
Note: closes at 9pm, not 9.45pm. I paid $1 to learn this...
