I booked the pool service for my dog"s bday 2 weeks ahead and got a confirmation of the same. On the day, the staff tell me that the pool is shut for maintenance and they didn't have a record of my booking. Then they all gave me different messages about the actual status of the pool - will take a few days to fill, will take 2 hours, is completely empty, etc! Finally when we checked the pool actually had water in it and could be used. Nobody there actually has a clue of what is going on since the staff keep changing every few months. The place is not regularly cleaned and smells. I would not recommend this place at all.

I would like to share with you our recent experience of the Wagington Hotel in Dempsey that has kept our two dogs in boarding from the 03-11 February 2019. During their time of boarding, we noticed that a number of requests were not adhered too, such as keeping the dogs apart from bigger breeds and providing supervision at all times. These request were confirmed by the hotel and made us opt for this very expensive option, however when we did check the CCTV we noticed that carers were not in place and due to the lack of attention and care one of our dogs got injured on the eye and leg. The staff only informed us very late about those injuries and never mentioned the true extends of these. In summary all correspondence between us and the carers was kept including images and when we brought the dog to the vet it was treated for a wound on the leg and trauma on the eye that might involve further eye surgery. A scarf the dog was wearing caused the abrasion on the leg and the staff did notice the fact that it was out of place and even took a picture, yet did not take it off to prevent the injury. When we spoke to Miya, the manager, on the 11/2 they admitted that they were negligent and would cover 50% of the vet bill, however todays call with them was very different and they advised that the owner and The Wagington is at no fault for either the trauma on the eye nor the wound on the leg (which one day ago they admitted liability- now they are saying it’s the dogs own fault). We are people that not normally complain, but feel with all the recent cases of pet homes, that this establishment clearly does not care about their pet guests. We gave them more than one occasion to make things right, but Miya mentioned that they are not interested and at no time felt the owner obliged to call us back and asked about the well being of the dog. I feel that other pet lovers should be spared those experiences as its not only traumatic for pets but owners alike. I guess pictures speak more than words and feel sick in the stomach for what our babies went through

The people who run the place are pleasant to deal with and the grooming itself is pretty good, but I encountered too many issues to come back. My dog injured his leg on one visit, presumably from jumping up/down or running up some stairs. I wasn't pleased, but these things happen. I called to ask that they be careful and not let him jump, climb too many stairs, etc. as he's getting old. On the next visit, he reinjured his leg. On the most recent visit, he was about to be led up a long flight of stairs until we stopped them and asked them to carry him up. Come on! The other issue relates to transport via their "limo" service. He was picked up twice at 8am and we were told he'd be back by 1pm. On both occasions, he didn't get back until after 5:30pm.

First time to the wagington. Impressed by the cleanliness. The staff were patient with HAPPY in guiding her on her first swim. Booked a supervised session to spend my birthday afternoon with my best friend/ex- girlfriend /wife and two kids together with HAPPY. TRULY ENJOYABLE afternoon spent at the facility. We look forward to visiting the wagington soon. Now that HAPPY is able to swim - I have to worry now because there is a risk that HAPPY will jump into my pool at home :) P/s- apologies for the incident in the restroom. Was my mistake. Thank you Adrian Wong

The ultimate experience for your pets. It's so much fun. Perfect for grooming, swimming in the dog bone pool, spa, daycare & boarding. All pets need a staycation here. More importantly, it's a family here & they treat your pawkids like their own.

We went to visit your establishment on site and want to know a bit more about the place before we book. The staff was essentially uselessly friendly and did not even brother to introduce your services. She kept on reiterating your booking policy and asked us to leave. When we asked when is the next slots that we can book, β€œyour helpless” reception couldn’t muster the next appointment date. I am not sure why other dog hotels have capable reception but you don’t. After reviewing the most recent feedback from other disgruntled dog owners regarding dog INJURIES under your β€œPROFESSIONAL ” care, I am relieved that we didn’t put our dog with you.

Perfect pet hotel who took really good care of my husky. It’s awesome that it’s a small cohort of dogs so there’s more care and attention given to our fur babies. Love the daily pictures update! I can highly recommend them and my husky will continue to go there for his staycation and socialisation.
