★ ★ ★ ★ ★ KATONG JAGO stall inside the Coffeeshop at Block 57 New Upper Changi Road sells Fried Carrot Cake in the morning and Char Kway Teow in afternoon (opens at 3 pm). Surprisingly, the Char Kway Teow was cheap ($3.50 & $4.50) and delicious. The portion was large with cockles. Preferably should ask for less sweet sauce, then char kway teow can be considered the best in this area. I can easily ate 2 plates at one go to satisfy my cravings for char kway teow on some occasions. Worth trying but must remember to ask for less sweet sauce.
