Had the fish hor fun after reading reviews. My friend took beef hor fun. Overrated. Not much flavour sauce not thick. Only saving grace is $4.50. Nothing to rave about.

Selling a good variety of Hor Fan…assemble together upon order….

Nothing to shout about. Ordered fish hor fun but it was under seasoned. Gravy was thick though. Sgd4.50 a plate. They offer other choices too like pork rib rice, beef hor fun etc.

Satisfying plate of beef + fish hor fun, wok hei taste is evident in hor fun but beef lacks in flavour. Zhup is slurp worthy.

There seems to be a constant queue at this stall. So I had to give it a go. SGD 4.50 for a plate of beef hor fun. Yum yum. Well worth the wait and money. Beef is soft and juicy. Hor fun very yummy. Try it to know for yourself.

Generous portion with good flavours, good amount of wok hey and the beef was quite tender. The broth was thick and fragrant, while the noodles were chewy and in thicker slices. The queue may look long but its quite a short wait and worth it. They have other types of hor fun also other than beef which we hope to try next.

Super savory hor fun. Gravy is good and the hor fun is so smoky with lots of wok hei. Looking forward to try all others combination. Price has gone up 50 cents recently. But if you want one of the best hor fun Cantonese style in Spore, it’s still worth paying for it.

Was drawn to the store because of the extended queue and decided to give it a try as hunt for a new staple within the hawker. As we were here only past 7, the Mui fan is out and Hor Fun remains as the only choice. Similar to some other Hor Fun specialist stores, the gravy and noodles are cooked in advance, with the cashier essentially taking orders and building them up while the chef cooks in bulk. Seeing the waves of smoke coming off each stir of the wok, I had high expectations of the dish but was quite disappointed.. There is certainly wokhey in the dish, though it isn’t quite a lot. The ingredients weren’t the nicest, fish tasted rather stale, squid didn’t taste like much and prawns were definitely frozen too. Would really expect more for a Hor Fun speciality store, at least for the ingredients that comes with it.
