Dissapointing. Youtiao hard to bite, dark colour like refried again. Quality need to be reviewed at clementi hawker xideli. Probably my last time buying.

This stall makes their you tiao fresh and that’s the best thing about it. There’s so many other stuff that’s being sold at this hawker centre that goes well with it. You can get a bowl of Tau huay or soy bean milk at the stalls behind it, or get a good bowl of porridge to go with it. The you tiao complements those dishes really well.

Everyone has their preference for food and I personally feel that ppl should respect that. I always prefer to buy/eat my you tiao only if it's hot/warm because cold, hard and oily ones are simply a waste of money and stomach space. Before purchasing, I specifically asked the aunty if the you tiao was hot/warm. She evaded my question by asking me how many I wanted. Maybe she didn't hear me out the first time so I asked her politely again. Once again, no answer and she was already wrapping 1 you tiao up for me. I asked once more politely and she replied "$0.90". Next thing, she shoved the you tiao into my hand and that was when I knew that the you tiao wasn't warm at all. She took my money, gave me my change and told me, "Not hot never mind, it's good to eat as long as still crispy" Rolleyes* walks away from this stall probably for the last time.

Best dough fritters 油条. Always had a queue waiting for the freshly made crispy油条.

Very expensive you tiao! $1 for a short 30cm long. The most disappointing part is the oil not fresh as you tiao was more towards dark colour which can create sore throat easily. I was a patron of this stall during my school days. This will be my final visit and we threw away the rest almost untouched.

Bought at Clementi hawker, around 1pm on 2 July. most of the snack, especially the Youtiao not fresh. Dark in colour, seemed like fried for more than 1 time. Very hard to bite, oily. Quality dropped far far from years back. Saw their stall featured in TV, thought that their food quality will maintain or even better from before. Disappointing, pls improve on the quality.

The fritters all are frying to perfection with very crispy outside and pluffy inside. Lovey and when you actually dip into the hot coffee would be perfect.. yummy!

Youtiao regularly increases by 10c every year to $1.10 now. Furthermore they fry in large batches so if you may get soft ones. Hawkers are friendly though.
