I had gastroscopy and colonoscopy to have an examination of my stool problems .Turned out to be related to internal piles. During the process of colonoscopy, Dr Ng detected and removed 2 small polyps found in my large intestines . If left undetected , one of them can be cancerous .Glad that he detected them when they were still at an early stage. Put me in his database for an auto reminder for the next endoscopy in 3 years time. Thanks to Dr Ng!

P	Poh Hwee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Ng is a good and professional doctor. He is very reassuring. I had suffered from internal bleeding. I was admitted to a local hospital and after 1 day of checks/tests. The Doctors didn’t managed to diagnose the medical problem. The joke was there were 4 Doctors looking at the scope and they couldn’t find the spot that was bleeding. There were very sure that the bleeding was not in the colon. They told me that they will operate on me the next day to find where the bleed is. I had to transfer hospital despite being warded in HDU. Dr Ng attended to me. He was very patient and managed to locate the spot of bleeding after 2 hours of scope. Thankfully, I recovered and was discharged 2 days later. No operations were required.

I consulted with other surgeons but I only felt confident enough to proceed with my scopes after my consultation with Dr. Ng. I immediately trusted him - self-assured, confident but humble and warm at the same time. I was very nervous - I had recently lost my father to colorectal related illness. Dr. Ng gave me calm and peace of mind about the whole process. He is not one of those surgeons who will rush patients to do unnecessary procedures. His explanations are easy to understand yet comprehensive. And he may see multiple patients a day, but his professional and caring manner makes you feel like you are the only patient he is seeing that day. I cannot recommend him enough.
