I had fractured both of my wrist and I went to KTPH hospital for a check up. Upon reaching, I was told to wait for the doctor’s call. It was fast, and I told the doctors my issues. I was then told to wait again, for the x-ray check, it took a great 1 hour. Everything went well during the x-ray test, I just have to wait for the results. Guess what? I had to wait for another hour just to be called by another doctor who he asked m what happened to me today. I was confused why I was being checked again, but didn’t think much. I was in absolute shock when he asked me to do take an x-ray of my wrists, I told him that I already took. He said maybe it was not updated. Again, I didn’t think much of it and was told to wait again. Moving on, the doctor decided to vaccinate me with the tetanus vaccine, he said it was for wounds. I allowed him to start and was in utter surprise that the doctor decided to use the top of the lip or cover of an contaminated bin to put the vaccine and all the needles and staff… luckily it was all in a bowl, but I was still amazed that he would do such a thing. There were clearly tables nearby and he chose to use the cover of the bin. As of now, I am still waiting for the x-ray results. This is a complain and I hope that something will be done and improved.

Best hospital in Singapore. Always get the questions asked, β€œMdm, where do you stay? But why Simei travel all the way to Yishun to seek medical treatment?” When you have three kids and a husband and the community that didn’t have the faith for our nearest possible medical facility, you will outsource. I remember when my husband diagnosed with colon cancer, the fastest to get surgeon Doctor Lim (Female) to see us and treat him, it is within two months, the rest need three months to see us and another three to six months to queue for operation.

Good eye doctor, but appointment flexibility is very low.. asked to reschedule and can only get a slot 1.5 months later. The customer service and their rescheduling policy needs to be reviewed, some are urgent cases but customer service officer just won't budge despite multiple explanations. No waiting list either and asked to call back again to check if anyone cancelled their slots. Very illogical.

Great ambience for recovery. Quite systematic to control the crowd and ensure the Covid protocols were done properly and fast. The hospital was clean and well maintained. The procedures from the patient admission to the follow up reviews were quite organised. Though, there were quite a number 1 star review. I do feel that the staffs and Doctors had done their best to ensure quality healthcare services and treatments were provided to the patients. Good effort from all the staffs of the hospital!

Very bad health service! My mum was appointed to the Emergency department by Yishun Polyclinic. She need to do scanning and eye checking. I understand family member are not allow to accompany in due the pandemic. But letting an elderly people waited for more than 10 hours without giving food and drinks. This is so ridiculous! She was so helpless, waiting alone. She is so thirsty and starving. I thought hospital is a place to provide treatment to the public for a better health! There should be nurses or staffs to attend to these patients attentatively what they may need while waiting for their turn. So disappointed!

My husband had an appointment with the psychiatrist (Dr. Chan Min XXX) here but instead of listening to what my husband had to say, the psychiatrist simply asked questions and typed without being interested and was not bothered to listen to my husband at all. Did not even try to understand his patient! Told my husband that he will recommend him to the therapist but told the nurse otherwise. Dr. Chan also did not tell the nurse that there was supposed to be medicine given. Very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience!

Reading the reviews, we now know we are not alone. Our relatives had been in the hospital before at different times. None of them said the hospital was good. It was either OK or poor to bad. We thought we were the only ones who had rude and condescending doctors, and nurses. Social workers don't seem to really care either. Most of them just get it done and over with. And we do notice many are not local professionals. We can believe its their culture to do poor service as the main impression we get from them is $. Wish reviews here have a dialogue section where reviewers can have conversations. Then clearer, more honest reviews will come out. It also appears that their kinsmen and staff try to pull up the review scores by praising themselves and their modern and pretty environment. Hello, patients and relatives want top responsible, professional medical care, before the wonderful advertisements and appearance. The hospital food looked bad too.
