Yishun Community Hospital - 2 Yishun Central 2

Likened to that of a 5 star hotel or resort. A beautifully designed hospital with great facilities and very comfortable rooms and furnishings. Staff is very warm, attentive and friendly. Rooms are carpeted and have built in wardrobes and kitchenette facilities. Here is the view from the TOP floor loft lobby.

UPDATE: I am glad that the hospital is restricting ward visits to control the potential spread of COVID to their patients, and provided a means for family and friends to see their loved ones in the ward via zoom. A lounge was set up next to Subway on the ground level where people can request for a tele-visit. I found that out only when warding my family member and there are no details on the hospital website. I ended up having to talk to the nurse in charge of my family. Even that, I was given the wrong information about the time I can come for a tele-visit. While she mentioned about the standard visiting hours, I was told that I can come anytime between 9am and 5pm. But when I was there at 3pm, the staff at the lounge told me that I can only do it after 4pm. There is apparently a discrepancy of information between the ward and the staff at the tele-visit lounge. ***** Located in very close proximity with KTPH and thus, provided a seamless transition for patients to move from surgery to post-surgery care. The lush surrounding with small eateries, convenient store, & food court gave both patients, caregivers, and visitors a welcoming setting.

Went there when I have a relative family member got transferred to their ward from ktph main building. The place is very beautiful and mordern There is a secret garden bridge connecting ktph and the community hospital. It is very cool at there and some part have aircon in the outdoor garden. Been there a few times The first time I went there during the covid period and 1 security guard saw me. His body language looks he is very shock and frightened. Then he started to question me why I am there. I was also very scared at the time and after answering his questions, I quickly went back to ktph where I came from. Eventually in the future I would come here often if I had the chance to see the place even with the huge amount of security cameras in the garden

D38 is the department I was been referred. Very cosy and comfortable compared to the busy Khoo Teck Puat Hospital side. Came up straight to level 3 from the car park lobby and register just before d38 dept. Easy and ✔. Friendly nurses and front desk assistants. Doctor is the regular one who attend attend me. Towels for you when you feel cold if needed.

Not crowded, waiting time for consultation - average Front desk staff should be more courteous and friendly. You can still put on a smile even with mask on!

This piece of land is going to develop the latest BTO in Yishun in coming months. The hardcourt that you saw, I used to play weekly soccer with my friends and we are going to miss this hardcourt when the construction begin.
