β β β β β Location is relatively convenient. The restaurant(the setting is actually a canteen in the day and restaurant by night) occupancy rate was ~70% during my visit. Reckon the food was slightly above average but the bill was HIGHLY about average (you probably would prefer a better setting, in air conditioned environment with the price you paid). Parking is always an issue over there... so, go early if you need a slot. As for the waitresses... not that friendly if i may compare against my previous patronage. Generally, still an OK place to go for.

β β β β β Not my first time here, I had always been impressed with their menu... Today is my first try of their ιΎθδΌ Crab with Seafood In Claypot. This is not ordinary curry or laksa crab, it's the most innovative Crab Beehoon I have ever tried... It has the savoury seafood umami, don't be surprised to find salted fish and Chinese herb dang gui in it, amazing cocoction, super fresh & firm crab meat ???. Must try!

β β β β β I was there on Sat with two other friends. We ordered spinach in superior stock, golden cereal prawn, salted kampong chicken, a chilli crab with 6 mantous and orh nee with ginko nuts. The place was under-staffed and was packed with customers, hence we waited quite a while (1) before being directed to the reserved table and (2) for our dishes to be served. The food was average, nothing exceptional.

β β β β β ordered a prawn paste chicken and salted egg crab
prawn paste chicken is average, prawn paste taste is not strong . but chicken served hot
salted egg crab - too much butter taste , cannot taste salted egg . too much overwhelming sauce of butter milk . crab is fresh and meat is soft and easy separate from shell
overall price- $83

β β β β β Price slightly high. Business pretty good though. Ordered the Kong Bak Pau (10 for $24). Taste is good but the pork is very thinly slice. The Hong Kong noodles just too salty for me.

β β β β β 4.5 stars. Been wanting to eat here and we regretted not coming here earlier. Came at 5 plus in the evening on a weekday and there was no crowd. Ordered sweet and sour pork, hokkien noodles and kai lan with salted fish. The dishes arrived quickly. The sweet and sour pork wowed us, succulent, crispy and juicy, with pieces of pineapples and tomatoes. The other dishes were delicious too and the portions were huge. Love the vegetables, very fresh and crunchy, with fragrant pieces of salted fish. The noodles were nicely done with wok-hei. Belacan chilli was good and spicy. Would definitely return to try the other dishes!

β β β β β The food is not the best zi char out there but definitely very decent and has a home cooked feel. Not too oily or salty and we were very happy with every dish.
Curry fish head was good. They tried to promote their more expensive red grouper but we had sea bass instead which was already very fresh, moist and well cooked.
Only thing is because this place is absolutely so big, it is hard to get someone when you need something or want to order.
