★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the pork trotters bee hoon. Don’t think I’ll order again. No evidence of stewing, no wok hei and the bee hoon is swimming in lots of gravy as if this is a bee hoon with dark sauce soup. The cook needs to learn how to work this dish properly. He/she just needs to google for online recipe for this simple dish.

Things I ordered all lukewarm, how can hot plate tofu be warm dont understand at all. Also the staff there are bunch of dishonest people trying to smoke me into accepting a wrong order by mumbling to me if I was okay with it, not by telling me she made an mistake and by the way there was not much people at 9 pm so how she made that mistake is beyond me. To add on there is a lot of dishes on the menu they stopped serving. First and last time I will go there please do not try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is after 9.30pm and many places are already close for the night and the only shop open is this Zhi Char stall. Staff were friendly and service was prompt. Ordered the dry seafood horfun. It is a simple dish to taste wokhey and a guage on how skillfull is the kitchen staff as they have to cook on the spot instead of just pouring the sause over precooked horfun. A fragrance plate of simple delight with fresh ingredients and not too oily. Great neighbourhood choice here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cost me $8.50?! I ordered one sweet and sour pork and one gong bao deer meat rice. What I gotten was about 6 small pieces of sweet and sour pork and about 5 slices of deer meat. What a ripped off! Don’t ever buy from this stall
