★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usual local coffee shop fare which serves decent local drinks and a variety of food for lunch. Charges 10 cents for a take away cup if you decide to take away your drink after having it in the shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was very excited when they opened as the original at Killiney Road was my go to place. However, this is a pale imitation of the original outlet. The quality is lacking as the famed toast and kaya tastes different and the coffee and tea relatively weaker.
The icing on the cake (or kaya on the toast) is the sullen attitude of the service staff who ignore your requests and seemed like they would prefer to be anywhere else but working. Only exception is this friendlier lady who is prob the boss.
A better alternative would be Dimbulah at Keppel Bay Tower (Better coffee), Ya Kun at Harbourfront (better coffee and toast) or Toastbox at the ferry terminal (better views!).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and comfortable modern kopitiam for coffee lovers.Spacious ,clean and very bright place.Wide varities of local dishes too.Coffee and tea tastes good. Love the toasted kaya bread as it is crunchy and fluffy inside.Air con is good too.Good place in groups.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local ‘go to’ for a local fix. The usual coffee and tea offerings, toast and eggs, with a bit more of lunch food items. Well placed between buildings to capture the hungry lunch time crowds.
You won’t get warmth but efficient service. The typical “faster, faster lah” service is rendered so it keeps the price low.
Both the coffee (kopi) and tea (teh) are not on the sweet side so it’s a joy to have on a stress day at work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok chain, rice was so so. But they have 2 meals as a daily special every fay of work week. Wait wasn't long, you get a beeper which flashes when your food is ready. Full of office workers, you can come, order,eat and be out of here on 15m ? Overall a good replacement for the Subways, KFCs, McDonalds and other Western chains.

However one might question whether being too efficient is sacrificing the ever so important customer service and a friendly face at the counter. Food wise everything was ok, kaya toast was a bit dry and they didn't prepare the eggs hard boiled at first as requested but fixed it super fast
