Kokoro Piano Studio (Tampines) - accessible by common lift/staircase

As a side hobby, I am very pleased with my piano teacher as he is very friendly and nice teacher.I find the piano camps very unique,as it exposes us as students to different aspects of music,not just piano.I have had a great time at the piano studio for the past 1 and a half years and will continue to persue piano as a hobby.

The teachers in this studio have a passion for children and music. They do not just focus on grades, but also on the holistic development of each child. I see that this is not just a job to them. They make effort to create interesting lessons for their students. The studio is cosy, with ample space for caregivers and students to rest and mingle, read a book or play a game while waiting. The facilities are clean and tidy. We know all the teachers in the studio, it is like a family. Pre-covid there is a free quarterly 3-hour music adventure camp where all the students meet. During covid restrictions when this can't be done, they come up with activities and newsletters for students to participate. Their programme is thoughtful, not a mass-produced, one-size fit all template.

The Tampines studio is spacious with lots of room for kids to stretch out and is fully equipped with every resource required for music education. And did I mention quarterly music half-day camps held at the studio, with some activities conducted at the nearby Tampines Green Park? Talk about real-life music education! My kids have been attending classes at the Tampines studio since 2016 and I have seen their music knowledge and skills improve tremendously while they have fun at the same time. The teachers at Kokoro have an unwavering belief in my children’s potential and nurture them tirelessly to break past their own boundaries. The studio offers lessons for adults too. I can’t recommend Kokoro Piano Studio highly enough for both the young and the young-at-heart!

Highly recommend Coach Jude in Kokoro Tampines! He has been teaching my son for more than 4 years and my son has gone through grade 4 piano exam. Jude is friendly, caring and patient. He guides my son well not only in knowledge in piano but also personal development. He spends extra time to pracitse with my son to ensure my son is well prepared for the exam. Jude also communicates with me closely and updates me about my son’s progress. He encourages my son to join their group events and take part in music performances and this boosts my son’s confidence for public performances. I feel so grateful to have Coach Jude in my son’s music learning journey!
