Kopifellas Cafe - 190 Lor 6 Toa Payoh

Decide to da Bao their laksa after reading some good reviews. Was pleasantly surprise with how good it tasted and they are also generous with the ingredients for a regular bowl priced at $4.20. Was expecting it to be another generic laksa offering in such cafe chains. The kopi also tasted great and really exceeded my expectations. Will be back to try their other items when I am at this food alley.

Update :Ice coffee Not so nice as expected . It’s just condence milk with coffee. I will not comeback again. :) Kopi mellow bittersweet taste. The taste reminds me of ancient Thai coffee. No wonder why it’s popular now ?

I saw a crowded of people at lunch always and I really don’t like to queue. So today I tried it because early morning breakfast time is less people. There are a lot of staff working at this small cafe restaurant. A bit like Kopitiam and yet have it’s own space. You can choose the sugar level of cold tea but just go below 75% or 50% will do. The tea itself isn’t thick and creamy. It’s watery, earl grey has a strong taste so that is still ok. Milk is not enough at all. As for the lor mee, I like it, will ask for an extra dose of vinegar as I can’t get the taste. The ingredients are decent for $4.20 (at hawker it is $4.50 to $5 usually). Minced meat noodles mee Pok is good too. Worth it to eat here. And there are people clearing my bowls away! Aha! ?. Regarding staff attitude, young guy at counter is like I am just doing my job. I wouldn’t say he is rude to me, morning less people less hectic. It’s just the kind of chin Cai lah, order lor. The auntie who served me noodles smiling and telling me chopsticks I can get it from where and there. The flow of the food collection must be changed… it is obstructing the path to go in and get out. Number to collect is right inside the shop and not obvious to customers sitting outside where I was. So a staff came out to say the number. I walk in and a customer need to walk out. The flow of a shop design is important… perhaps an improvement of this will help the staffs more, as well as customers. I don’t need over the top fake smiling (come on. It’s just $4.50 noodles). Less frustrated people is the key. It comes naturally.

One of the better local coffee chain. Will definitely my 1st choice if there is a outlet nearby. At time, the coffee is taste a bit over roast but still much much much better than most of the tasteless coffee in Singapore

Modern cafe selling Hot & Cold Signature Drinks such as Honey Oolong, Thai Green, Earl Grey, Honey Lemon Sour Plum, Lychee Milk Tea AND also serving traditional Toast Sets, Soft Boiled Egg and Noodles….. Lor Mee, Laksa, Minced Meat Noodle, Fishball Noodle….. Try it up ???

Totally love the coffee from this franchise. They have amazing local coffee and also options for toasts and main course. Do visit when you are in the area craving for good coffee!

Love love their lor mee! Sad case is that they don’t always follow special instructions. Great amount of ingredients when you opt for extras. The earl grey toast was average, didn’t really taste the earl grey flavor, the jam taste kinda “涩”. Oolong honey tea is sooo good! Goes so well with their coffee jelly.

Maned completely by young people, more like a “Starbucks “ coffeeshop style. $2 for a big cup, coffee tasted actually not bad, served in modern style and yet but yet not really Kopitiam taste but not bad.
