I passed by this place and I was wondering what the flagship Koufu food court was like. No aircon. But it was quite breezy. I didn’t see anything that I liked so I settled with the one with the longest queue - Pao fan. It was ok. I haven’t come across a pao fan that I ever liked. Maybe because all of them had rather bland soup so far. It’s like teo chew porridge with crispy bits. Fish wasn’t that fresh but passable. Dim sum was so so too. But at $1.80, quite cheap. Rather underwhelming for a HQ. I thought it’s be a showcase outlet like Chang Cheng HQ but no….

16 Feb 2022: Nice set-up…clean, spacious and well ventilated with huge ceiling fans. Disappointed with the mee siam and lontong from Nanyang Delights…the gravy too weak.

A good selection of food and drinks, dim sum, mookata, Ayam penyet, mixed veg rice, Pao fan, nasi padang, etc. Spacious and well lit. One of the food courts you can seat 5 people together during current Covid safe distancing (Dec 2021). Not easy to get to by public transport though, cars usually stop along road. They have a nice wall mural and cute dragon playground chairs, and 2 hop scotch play areas. Place is well ventilated too, with many big fans and well lit with many light bulbs.

One of the larger Koufu foodcourt. It’s non-air conditioned but yet airy due to the large ceiling fans and high ceiling. Place is spacious and clean and need no efforts to grab a table even during peak hours. Wide selection of local delights and prices are ok for industrial areas.

The stall that sells Kuching delicacies is not bad, worth a try. Sarawak laksa at $6 a serving has a decent sized portion, with shredded chicken and 3 relatively meaty prawns, taste decent. Kolo Mee at $5 a serving also has a decent sized portion, topped with generous minced meat and char siew, the noodle is springy and taste quite good. This is definitely one of the better, if not the best, Kuching delicacy stalls in the north.

Lunch at KouFu HQ food court... Not much selections available. This stall still OK. Noodles is Q. And dumplings are soft and smooth.

Kuching Laksa not bad, gravy was smooth to eat along with bee hoon, especially with the sambal. Quite generous portion although the price is not cheap for coffee shop standard. Kolo mee was quite decent for its al dente noodle, with 3 types of sauce to choose. Bought Chilli Pan mee from another stall but the taste was not up to my expectation. The chilli with Sichuan peppercorn taste was totally different from Msia style of Chilli Pan mee sambal. Served without fried ikan bilis, no braised mushroom and no Chi.spinach.

The food court is spacious with high ceiling, huge ceiling fans to cool the whole place and the washroom is clean and spacious too. It's locate next to the park connector, very convenient for people to park their bicycles outside and have their bites or meals here. Love this convenient and the place, it is me and my friends regular hangout place after rides.
