Good new experience with authentic Filippino food in this cafe/restaurant. Affordable alcoholand bar food!

The food was not too bad, really loved the dessert!

Alternative place to find Filipino food. Ambiance is good. The food choices are limited but enough to satisfy your cravings for Filipino food.

Taste is just ok. $14 for a bowl of lomi is overpriced for me, must be because of the generous portion of meat. Think more chicharon and fishballls could be better. But all in all, I still love La Cafe!

Awful experience. 1) standing at the entrance, waiting to be seated. This lady looked at us but ignored us. 2) the other staff (uncle) escorted us in after waiting for 3mins. While seated, I raised my hand for a good 5minutes but nobody came to us. One of us shouted excuse me, order! This staff lady in photo saw and heard us but she just did not care. Most probably she thinks she is only in charge of serving drinks and not taking orders. However, she also does not inform her colleagues to take our order. I understand that you are understaffed during the peak hour on a Friday dinner. But your service could have been a lot better. This lady really just looked at us and ignored us.

Food was generally tasty. I just wonder why a restaurant will serve beef steak and the beef they serve comes with lots of fats. The chef must be saving the restaurant lots of money by doing so. Ordered some food for new year. Pinoy female Staff was very rude. Horrible service. Female pinoy Staff do not care about customers. Must send them for conmmunication and service course.

Located at Royal Square ground floor. From outside may not be obvious and gives more of a bar & wine establishment vibe which they do offer, but I'm addition also serve Filipino dishes. They also have options for typical western food like pasta, etc. Milkfish is not common a dish in SG so this would be a good intro to Filipino food.

I would give it a 3.5? but Google does not have that option. Location is really good and so is the ambience nice and cozy. As per attached pictures from the menu they have wines from France, Italy, Slovakia, Australia, Spain and New Zealand. The selection for Hard Liquor and Cocktails is not extensive though. Food seems to be fairly priced and very interesting food from Philippines is on the menu. Service though was certainly not friendly ? and needs loads of improvement. There was 1 staff however who seemed to be friendly. For those who sit at the huge Barrel (drums) kindly note ⚠️ , they have wheels and may roll down the slope, you got to be cautious as drinks may spill over in the direction of the slope. The restaurant seems to have a steady stream of customers. It's a good idea to check with the restaurant on their food and drinks promo. Since seating inside the restaurant is limited you may want to call the restaurant in advance and make reservations.
