★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The main problem I have seen so far based on my many days of going through quotations and offers, many carpentry services in Singapore do not provide a good balance between price and customizability. Personally I already had an inspiration on what I want in my modern home.
Thanks to Francis @La Maison Carpentry, my dream came true. Although I do not have a single engineering background and this being my first home, Francis gave me constructive feedback on my design whether my ideas are realistic enough to be accomplished.
I definitely would be coming back if I ever were to move to a new home in the future.

He responded to my initial call within one day, asked appropriate questions to make sure he understood what I needed and came up with a plan. He was completely transparent with how he did his pricing and made a time to come out to my home within the week. His reliability and punctuality was only the beginning. I was so happy with the renovation and I ended up asking his advice on a few other projects which led him to have to come out a second time. He is really pleasant to work with. I wasn't sure how to find a solution for an area in my house, and Francis thought about it, presented some ideas and really had that "mind's eye" going. He has an easy going manner way of talking. His pricing was very fair. I am so happy with the reno work. His work ethic, work product and pleasant professionalism are the complete package and I happily would recommend him for any project large or small.
