β β β β β Heart-felt thank you to Sun and your team for highly professional and efficient service rendered to us ! Impressive, indeed ????My wife is especially appreciative as she wanted to change the out-going helper for months but we canβt do it due to Covid19. Now, her wish is finally realised. She is happy with the new helper.

β β β β β Charged very high agency fees. Doesnβt explain processes and costs involved well, especially first-time maid hirers. Take advantage of covid 19 situation to limit replacement period and restrict to new maids. All these translate into very high costs for maid replacement as employers have to bear SHN, swab tests, etc.

β β β β β This is an honest but long review about the what we felt was poor and unprofessional service. If you are thinking of engaging this agency please read through and judge for yourself.
My helper ran away despite us treating her well. In addition to eating the same food as us and having >8-9hrs sleep a day, she had her mobile phone, use of Internet WiFi and didn't cook or look after our 3 kids. She just left a note saying that she missed her mom and wanted to go home.
Our agent, Adam, told us to make a police report and we were assigned an Investigation Officer (IO). When the helper reached the agency, he told us that the helper wanted a transfer. When queried why the helper changed her story or why she ran away, Adam couldn't answer us and instead insisted we talk to the helper.
We spoke with the helper and convinced her to come back to our home to discuss. Adam agreed to send her home the next day. However, the next morning, we received a text from Adam that he couldn't send her back as the IO had requested to interview the helper at the agency. As we were puzzled by this sudden change, we called the IO to verify. She informed us that the helper made a police report in the morning and uniformed officers were dispatched to the agency, hence she had requested a follow-up interview at the agency. When queried about why Adam did not inform us about this incident, Adam claimed he was unaware, even though police officers had physically visited his office when he was around.
The IO interviewed the helper and cleared us of any wrongdoing. She said the helper made a police report just because she didn't want to work for us. Upon hearing this we called the agency and another agent Tyson took our call. We asked for options as we couldn't take her back and we couldn't, in the right conscience, request a transfer for her given that she could put the next employer through the same troubles. Surprisingly, Tyson still recommended we transfer her saying that as long as the helper is ok to stay, they will find an employer for her, even though she made an unsubstantiated police report.
We eventually decided that we should send the helper back to Indonesia, rather than let the helper possibly trouble another employer. This is when things started to get interesting. Tyson first kept encouraging us to transfer the helper. When we told him our decision was firm, he told us that he could help us book the air ticket and send her back the next day. Given the current Covid-19 travel PCR test that would take at least 24 hours to get the results, we were surprised and asked him how it could be done so fast. Tyson told us that he would book the flight on a certain airline that did not require PCR test but only a "fit to fly" report from a doctor. However, when we clarified with MOM and the airline in question, they informed us that we should follow the instructions on the Indonesian embassy website, which clearly states a PCR test result was required.
After we arranged for a PCR test for the helper, which turned out negative, we arranged with Tyson for us to pick the helper up at 12 noon the next day to send her to the airport. Tyson agreed and didn't say anything. The next morning Tyson surprised us again by saying that the helper suddenly refused to go and he couldn't do anything.
We went down to speak to the helper and asked Tyson to help advise the helper the facts about MOM's regulations in such cases, but he flatly refused. Tyson instead insisted we make a police report to resolve the issue, which we did, since it was clear the agency wasn't going to be of any further help. The police officer told us when they reached was that such things should be the responsibility of the agency since they took fees from us. Eventually, after the police officers spoke to both the helper and Tyson, we were allowed to send her to the airport, which we promptly did and sent her on her flight home.
In summary, if you get a good helper this agency, good for you. If not, like the other 1 star reviews mentioned, you may not get much help from them.

β β β β β The domestic helper I gotten from them is simply hopeless, cannot even mop the floor properly. I wonder if they screen through their helpers before letting them out to employers like us and the helper (from them) decides to quit after a month and there was no form of help from them other then asking me to fork out another $3K to get a fresh maid from Indonesia.

β β β β β I would like to commend Tyson Loo who contacted me recently to offer assistance in renewing my maid's work permit. He was very professional and helpful in answering all my queries and providing advice (even responding to my texts outside office hours). I like the fact that he is very proactive and kept me updated all the time. It is important to have a good maid agent and it is people like him that will make us customers keep coming back to the same agency. Thanks Tyson!

β β β β β Bukit Timah outlet : Extremely rude staff over the phone. Out of 3 of them, 2 were rude. I called 3 times because they were not calling me back with regards to my issue. I neither used profanities nor shouted yet the last guy who answered my call (yelled at me) and hung up on me and did it again when I called back immediately and he heard me say βhelloβ. I called one final time and a lady answered. I calmly explained to her my displeasure in the service and what had happened and requested for the male staffβs name by the end of the day (that was about 5pm and the issue with the male staff was merely 5 mins ago. She said they close at 8pm but yet again no one got back to me). During my conversation with the male staff, he kept trying to interrupt and I said, βplease allow me to finish what I have to say and youβll have your chance to speak afterβ. When I spoke to the last lady, I told her please check voice recording of my conversation with the male staff (Iβm hoping they have it) to hear how rude he was and that it was uncalled for as I hadnβt reacted that way with him).
I do NOT recommend this agency at all unless you donβt mind non-responsiveness and the possibility of getting yelled at. Havenβt experienced such rude telephone service before!

β β β β β The domestic helper we got from them is simply hopeless, useless, cannot even clean the house, toilets properly. I wonder if they screen through their helpers before letting them out to employers like us and the helper (from them) decides to quit after a couple of months and there was no form of help from them other then asking me to pay out another $2,500K to get a fresh maid from Indonesia. No call back service from Labour Express, post deploying the helper, no services or help in any form from them even when we approach to sort out issues due to helper. They only focus on Money or Charges, but no equivalent services or support from the Agency. Lessons learnt, better be away from Labour Express.
