The 辣鸡鸡丁 which was the recommended dish was a true disappointment. The oil used to fried was repeatedly used too many times that there was some rancid taste and it was not properly stir fried with the dried chili's, there wasn't and spiciness on the fried chicken pieces, just mouthful of rancid oil taste.

The MLXG, 辣子鸡，酸辣粉 are good. No doubt deserves a 5/5 star review for the food. BUT however, whenever order MLXG takeaway, 2/5 of the time, they miss out certain items on the list but we were still charged the full amount, staff did not highlight if the item being ordered is not available. Highlighted once to the staff on the discrepancy in the previous order while ordering takeaway, the staff was kind enough to give extra portion in compensation for the discrepancy in the previous order. But then again, there was still missing items in the order. which amounted to around 15% of the total cost. Would recommend other customers to double check their items for MLXG especially for takeaway. Verified with the staff & they immediately admit their mistake as they explained they had to handle orders from grab as well. They offered to refund or make a compensation during our next visit.

Nice sichuan food, spicy but spot on taste! The Spicy Diced Chicken 辣子鸡 is always like a bottomless pit, digging the bowl among a sea of chillies. Food taste is heavy but is within expectation. The Fillet in Pickled Chinese Cabbage 酸菜鱼 is really good too. When delivered it tends to spill out (cosbthey fill it up to the brim), but they did try to double bag. Used to order from the Tampines outlet, food is the same.

I was cycling past Bedok Reservoir at 2 AM and felt hungry. I stumbled on this unassuming Chinese restaurant that serves authentic Sichuan food (exactly as what you will get in China ??). I must say their food is delicious and cooked by local chefs/cooks from China ??. It was a nostalgic experience for me (having lived there for almost 20 years). Highly recommended for all authentic Chinese food lovers.
