Really delicious. The owner really takes effort to prepare the food. The noodle has good texture. The soup is flavourful. The black sauce with chili is very nice. They are generous with ingredients too. More minced meat than most stalls. Meat is tender. More spinach vegetables than most stalls too. And the egg is cooked just nice. Always buy from them now and then.

A hidden gem within the hawker Centre! Springy noodles with a wonderful fragrance, spicy and umami laden chili sauce with fresh and crispy Ikan bilis, tasty minced meat all in generous portions. Appreciate the hawker’s meticulous methods and the care put into each bowl.

The noodle is springy to bite when mixed with dressing (black sauce, seasoning and chilli), it resembles indomie ! The meatballs are bursting with flavour and soup is tastefully rich! Price starts at $2.50!

The noodle texture is good, seasoning is good and soup isn't bad. but the mince pork and chicken is overcooked and dry. if the mince meat are done properly, it'll be a really good bowl of noodles.

A hidden gem and undiscovered star here. Very springy noodles, great sauce n chilli, and the minced meat and anchovies are just right. Portion is generous for $3.50 which is not as common these days.

I ordered minced meat and chicken u mian with Tom yum chili. It came with side chilli (chicken rice chili) as well. Very nice dry u mian with soup as well. Nice seasoning and mix. But the minced meat was a dry and too chunky, if it is cut to smaller minced sizes would have been nicer. The rest of the noodles awesome!

Don't look down on this unassuming stall, the noodles is really delicious. It is just next to the famous Lai Heng Handmade Teochew Kueh. The glamour of the Michelin Big Gourmand Lai Heng Handmade Teochew Kueh may unfairly overshadow this good stall... I ordered the dry u mian without chili. I don't like to add chili to my noodles even though I like spicy food. The reason is that I think the chili (even if good chili) may mask out the flavors of the noodles. Want to enjoy the noodles by itself and add chili later if necessary. First of all the u-mian is cooked just nice. He used a timer to time it and it goes through cold water once to wash off the starch and also to stop further cooking. This resulted in the noodles nicely cooked and not starchy. So can get to taste the nice favorly sauce used. Portion: For $4, it comes with a very generous amount of minced meat, chicken chunks (he uses chicken thigh which is a juicier choice of meat), lots of fried crispy anchovies, one soft boiled egg (not soft like Onsen but not as hard as hardboiled egg), one juicy big wanton and lots of vegetables inside the soup. Very worth it and everything taste good! Soup: The soup is tasty and has depth in flavor. Makes you feel that lots of effort is put into the soup. Enjoyful.
