I was told Lapin served very authentic Thai food by a Thai lady and my craving (for proper Thai food like they serve in BKK) went off the charts. Omgoodness Lapin is seriously aroi maak! I am so in love with their prawn cakes (perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and so juicy on the inside), crab yellow curry (spicy, piquant and absolutely moreish with the accompanying springy beehoon) and the pork jowl (cooked till nicely charred on the outside and so moist inside, goes so well with the chilli). Good portion sizes and the dishes aren't diabetes-inducing like so many places. I'm already dying to head back when I'm back in Singapore.

Didn't manage to take photo of the dish i like the most, pork collar which is accompanied by fried shallot... The grilled chiclen, which is very tender and well marinated is good for sharing... Truffle fries is served with a sauce taste like mushroom mayo...

Very cute interior and I initial thought that this place was a cafe/brunch place. Ordered 3 dishes for 2 pax and it was around $60. Not so cheap but super worth it. The crab curry was the highlight of the meal, loaded with a ton of chunky ? meat and the spiciness was on point. The ? cake was good too, it was sooo fat and juicy with no fillers. The kangkong was so so.

Modern Thai fusion! Fried chicken knee is fantastic and delicious! Love the crunchy som tum with the fried shrimps! The normal spicy is quite spicy for us already… grilled pork collar is smooth, fatty and yet textural! Will definitely come back here for more!

First time to this new Thai restaurant. We had 4 dishes, far too much and ended up with a doggie bag. Hence, portions are generous. We had the Papaya Salad, fresh ingredients, large, and tasty. Quite spicy even by local standards so ask them to ease off if you can’t handle the heat. Pad Thai was nice. Fresh, bean sprouts crunchy, reasonable levels of seafood also. Crab fried rice was very tasty with a good taste of crab. One of the best I’ve had in Singapore. Prawn cakes were large. Honestly a bit of chopped chive or something would have helped as a bit plain. Juicy and well cooked. Succulent and not dry. Can’t work out what the prawns were mixed with, but I suspect egg white and something else… reasonable prices. And overall a good experience. If you like Thai, worth a visit and let me know what you think. May see you here as a place I’ll return to. Oh and the typically nice Thai decorations too…

Great food and friendly staff. Dishes are unique and yummy. The grilled pork collar is super tender and the best I’ve had in SG (and I’ve tried it at many Thai bistros). Sashimi prawns are amazing, and the flower crab curry is delicious. Portions are generous and alcoholic drinks well priced.

They are serving not only authentic Thai food, but some other modern/fusion menu as well. Though the menu doesn’t have various kind of food, they have done it very well. I personally love the Chicken Knee and Prawn Cake. The papaya salad was also good, but nothing special. If you love Thai food, you can give it a try.
