β β β β β Both my kids attended Lcentral since age 4/5, at Ang Mo Kio outlet. My elder kid is with Lcentral for 6 years, and my younger kid has attended for 3 years so far.
The phonics program is very useful for young kids especially in reading ability. My kids can read story books on their own as young as age 5/6. Their pronunciation is even better than me. Blending is very useful in learning new words and goes a long way in foundation building.
The lessons for Primary level are well paced and coaching is a bonus. I find that having native speaking teachers make a difference.

β β β β β I chanced upon L Central after seeing how my friend gave good review about her son's learning at LCentral.
My girl was not reading well even though she started Primary 1 so i decided to give it a try and enrolled her after an assessment at Lcentral. After attending lessons at LCentral, we can see her improvement in baby steps for English and now she is able to recognise much more sight words. Teacher Pippa is very patient and provides me with timely feedback on my girl's learning progress.
The admin staff are all friendly and provides prompt assistance too. My girl looks forward to her weekly lesson at LCentral.

β β β β β This is the best tuition centre I went before, they are very attentive and the respond is prompt and helpful. The teachers are very supportive too. My children English doing well so far with lcentral amk. When children need help, they will arrange coaching classes for them. My children said is very helpful. My children enjoy every lesson, they feel happy to go and come back from tuition. I strongly recommend this tuition centre for everyone.?

β β β β β The sessions are good but these guys are a little too stiff in managing make-up classes... Too many rules that can't be accommodated by most parents (who btw are the Customers!).
