Lee Alterations

I decided to get tailoring services done here because of the affordable price and the good reviews. I came in with high expectations but unfortunately I was left disappointed. The moment I entered the shop I was greeted with poor customer service, the tailor was somewhat unfriendly and didn't make me feel fully welcomed. While waiting for my turn, a woman came in and started screaming at the shopkeeper and demanding to get her clothes now because she was supposed to get it long ago. That should have been a red flag for me but nevertheless I went on to get this shop's service. I was allowed to select from a wide variety of fabrics with many different choices of colors and textures. Honestly I was quite impressed with the selection they offered and the quality of their sample fabrics. I chose the fabrics I liked and gave them to the shopkeeper. To my surprise I was charged nearly 50$ extra because she said that the fabrics I chose were expensive. It came as a surprise because initially I was told that it would've costed less than $200. I was not told that there would be extra costs at all. However I did give her the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps it is true that I chose expensive fabrics. Once I made my order she helped me with measurements and such. I would say that she is very solid in her ability to judge what measurements would suit your body best. Definitely she has a good sense of style. After all was done I paid up full deposit and was told that my outfit would be ready in 2 weeks time. Little did I know that it would actually take nearly 4 weeks for me to get it back. And even when she was over a week late, she did not even bother to give me a call or to inform me. I had to personally go there to see if it was done. Okay so a month later once my outfit was done I received it back and realized that one of the pieces had fabric that had really poor quality. It looks like the fabric has been roughly washed several times with the fabric coming apart at some parts of the clothing. However the other pieces of clothing didn't have such problems and came back in perfect condition.. On another occasion I came back to the shop to get some clothing altered. A week later I came back to collect the clothing and I swear it is exactly the same as when I sent it to her. What I mean is that I believe she did not alter my clothing at all. I was furious because I already paid money for her to alter it and it came back exactly the same. Despite this she refused to admit it and thus i was forced to leave empty handed. Overall, despite being a decent tailor with a good selection of fabrics and a great sense of style. I am very upset with this person's integrity and sense of responsibility. Definitely I would not recommend anyone to get any services done here.

Their services is fast and quick. I sent my two dresses and one pants for alteration last Saturday. The owner is kind and attentive to my needs and gave me recommendations on the type of alteration that suits me best at an affordable rate as compared to other shops. Will definitely visit again!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Honestly I do not know who or why people are leaving bad reviews. I found the owner/tailor to be the most friendly, neighborhood, auntie who genuinely cares for her customers and want them to look their best. She will recommend you on how to alter your clothing but leaves the decision to you as a consumer - she has never forced me nor any customer I've seen walked in to pay more for what she is advising. Having said so, I had 2 shirts and 2 pants altered and was done within 4 business days and I am very happy with both the service and her workmanship on my clothing. I had very tedious and complicated alterations done and yet she was able to do it, allowing me to wear my clothes like as if they were brand new store bought that fit my size rightly. On top of that she went above and beyond by opening her shop later than usual so that I can come in after work to pick up my clothes and she spent more time getting me dressed and see if there were any extra alterations she could do at that minute so that I did not have to make a return trip. All in all, I liked her service and workmanship and I will definitely recommend Lee's Alterations to anyone. Be kind to one another people - it's free.

Used to go to the tailor near my house at bedok to alter my working shirt. However, my co-worker recommended me to visit Ann. I then went to visit Ann, she gave her opinion on how my shirt would best fit me. I altered a total of 3 shirts and also made 3 custom-made pants at Ann’s shop. The outcome is great! I will definitely come back here again!

Very friendly and approachable Aunty. I can see that her shop is quite popular as when I was there, she had quite a number of walk in customers. I'd understand why too, as the price is good, and the quality is excellent. Why do in Bangkok, or overseas -- just do locally here in this shop. Would recommend my friends and come by again when I need any alteration or making a new suit..!

Excellent service that far exceeds my expectations. Was urgently looking for someone to help make a skirt. Lee Alterations delivered within a day and at a reasonable cost. She also took initiative to provide solutions to make the end product even better than I expected. Highly recommended! Will definitely come back again if I need alteration and/or sewing services!

Got my torn slacks sewed up at below 5sgd. Made my blouse length shorter costs around 10sgd which is fair enough but tell the auntie dont write on the front surface of ur clothing to mark how short she will cut it coz when it remains there and not included on the cut later, cannot be erased :(

Spoke with Ann to get myself a set of tailored shirt and pants. She is very attentive to details and listened to my queries and considerations. Ann even proposed different ideas to suit my requirement. Happy with the service. When I collected my purchase, everything was in order and very comfortable as well. Despite my constant questions, Ann had been very patient. Not only were her service good, the quality of the clothes and materials are great too! Thanks a bunch!
