★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A rest area along Mandai Road facing the Upper Seletar Reservoir. A good place to stop over to feel the quite and calming environment out of the busy and crowded areas. It's also a fishing spot for newbies to practice 'catch and release' on freshwater fishes. SBS bus service no 138 stops exactly at the location plying from Ang Mo Kio to Singapore Zoo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to relax. We went on Sunday, just a few people around. Toilet is near the viewing tower. Bus 138 stops just outside the reservoir.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fun place to leisure-fish if you are having a bad day. Even though the bite rates are not that high, you still can give the place a chance. There’s a chance you may be able to foul hook a local prata (motoro ray) there too!
The place generally doesn’t get too busy, so you can enjoy the fresh air and scenery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Favourite rest point during my cycling exercise. A place to have a short break after long ride from Woodlands to Springleaf. A lot of people came to fishing, and I always ride here to view the nice scenery.
I always wish i will ride here to picnic sometime. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not just a legal fishing spot. It was a good place to rest and relax- simply to chill either alone or with championship.
You could easily find a spot, either a bench or under shelter to sit down and to enjoy the breeze. Or you could watch other people fish.
I saw other people packed their food and had a meal there.
The inconvenient part was you would need your own transport. It would tough to travel all the way by public transport.
The best part was the parking was free of charge. And there were ample parking space.
An excellent place to go!
