โ โ โ โ โ If you like fish steamboat this is worth a visit. We were there for dinner with my mother at my brother's recommendation. The stock for the steamboat was impressive. It was from fish bone and there were fried fish parts in the soup. It was milky not from any added milk but the actual fish bones. It was tasty. It was good enough to warrant another visit a week later. It is a neighbourhood coffee shop so don't expect swank surroundings. The fish pieces that came for us to cook inn the steam boat were fresh.

โ โ โ โ โ Just another HDB coffee shop. The 308 Zhi Char is popular with the residents so just refer to its ratings to get the latest feedback. It also has an Indian Muslim, Chicken Char Siew rice, Fishball minced meat noodle, and the usual drink stall plus mixed vegetable stall.

โ โ โ โ โ This coffeeshop have a good selection of food - Zi Char, Western, Indian food (Prata, Dosai, Mee Goreng, Nasi Goreng and Curry Rice), Roasted Meat, Fish Ball Noodle, Economy Beehoon and Nasi Lemak, Spinach Soup and Economy Rice. All decent and can eat. I rotate the different dishes when I go there.

Only the ZhiChar store is quite good and usually needs to wait for quite a while.
Other stalls are normal.

โ โ โ โ โ Good zi char stall. Updated as at Jan 8 2016, recently chef standard had dropped. We found the dishes very salty, this pattern only happened if there is a very huge crowd such as CNY, Mother day or father day celebration, Avoid these celebration day if you can!!!
