้…ฑ่’ธ้ฑผๅคด is half a Red Snapper head steamed with special-made sauce (bean, chilli, garlic, ginger, pork lard) and topped with ่ฑ†่…. The sauce blends well with the fresh fish head. A favourite of mine.

Unique rojak dish by Tze-Char stallโ€ฆfusion between Japanese tempura and Chinese rojakโ€ฆespy., tempura styled kang kong. Tried fried mee-sua, pork floss toufu & sambal sweet potato leaveโ€ฆall were well balanced in both taste & quality. Worth the 6 KM trek from Rivervale ????

Food taste is generally normal. Curry fish head gravy is on lighter and watery type. Would prefer thicker and more aromatic type. For $30, would recommend giving this a miss.

the cuttlefish rojak is a must order! i personally dislike the raw cuttlefish taste and you can simply request for no cuttlefish. its the same price but they give you more veggies. family favorites like pai gu wang, sweet n sour pork, salted fish fried rice are all really good. also highly recommend the spinach egg soup although portion is quite small, family of 4 finished the large one quickly (hence no pic haha) easily one of the best zi char in SG plus reasonable pricing! would definitely come back to try their other dishes ??

This is my 1st time eating at Leong Ji since they moved away from Punggol Settlement. While the Punggol Waterway facing coffeshop ambience can't match the original seaview restaurant, the food and friendly service definitely more than makes up. As usual the star is the deep fried kangkong cuttlefish rojak. The medley of umami flavors and textures of crunchy fried and julliened veg and chewy cuttlefish is a must try. The other must try is the seafood white beehoon. Rich lip smacking broth and generous serving of fish, cuttlefish and prawns for the price. The creamy pork chops is slathered with salted egg yolk based sauce, each piece boneless, tender, juicy and each with enough guilty but delicious fat. Parking is super convenient at the multi story car park. Walk the calories away along the Punggol Waterway, very near the scenic sunset bridge and Lor Halus bridge. Highly recommended. 5 โญ

Definitely one of the better Zhi Char type places around. The chef appears to be particularly attentive to textures (instead of merely taste and scent). The jiu heh eng chye is a wonderful example of this. Soft, springy cuttlefish and crispy veges. The fried intestines similarly had a generous sprinkling of dried prawns to give the crunch which goes wonderfully with the intestines done just right - springy. Not rubber, not mushy. We'll be back!

Nice zichar dishes especially the sambal sotong. Their speciality Rojak Gang Kong is quite a yum appetizer. Very crowded coffeeshop so expect to wait a little longer for their food to be ready especially weekends
