The stall here sells "Japanese Fusion Mee Pok" and offers both a miso and shoyu version. I ordered the dry version of the mee pok. The most distinct item of the dish is the Japanese style char siu which was pretty good but I couldn't discern the miso flavour from the soup or the dish. Nonetheless, it is a delicious bowl of mee pok, loved the char siu which is tender and not too fatty and the noodles were well cooked too.

Decent japanese western (Singaporean) style Mee pok in the west. It's not bad and I swear at times the $10 set has more pork than noodles. Queue on a rainy Saturday morning was about 20min.

Tried the non-Japanese version of the meepok here โ€” the traditional mushroom minced meat version. Still excellent and full of umami. Mushrooms were delicately cooked and seasoned perfectly. Portion was generous.

Tried the Shoyu Mee Pok Dry today. Decided to splurge and topped up for crayfish. The noodle has enough ingredients so that every bite of noodle has something in it, after a good mix. Taste wise, it has a smoky umami taste which leaves you slurping it to the last strand. Crayfish is cooked well and not to the point that its dry. The broth it sits in deserves a mention on its own. It has the taste of a tastiest prawn mee broth. With a generous amount of fried pork lard thrown in, it is really quite something and I ended up drinking it all. Will be back again for sure :) keep it up! The place has a queue at most lunch time but it moves really quick so its no problem

Probably one of those noteworthy and repeatable places in West Coast area. But I think the Japanese Char Siew can be better. But for the price I donโ€™t think anyone can beat it. The ingredients are super generous which I feel is justified with the price. Definitely a place I WANT to return. Only problem. Is they only open at 9am. And I am usually in office by then. If there is no WFH arrangement, I would not be able to eat at this place.

Still tasty after all these yearsโ€ฆ original chef doesnโ€™t look like heโ€™s cooking there anymore, but the standards have remained high. Noodles are springy, sauces flavorful, and ingredients generous. While the original remains a must-try, I usually order the crayfish as itโ€™s less common to find, and itโ€™s very well done here.

I am pleasantly surprised to find out Li Yuan Mee Pok opened a new stall inside Foodmore Food Court at 115B Commonwealth Drive. I have never tried the mee pok despite of many hypes in the media. I must admit that the mee pok really live up to the hype. Tried the dry version of miso and soryu mee pok on 2 occasions and love the taste instantly. The noodle is springy, the source is flavourful but not overwhelming, plus a generous amount of ingredients. It is indeed a wholesome meal that live up to its slogan of Japanese Fusion Mee Pok.

The food is great here. Highly recommended for others to try. The taste is just a delight to my tummy. Will sure come again. No wonder heaps of people lining-up here everyday.
