Food standard had indeed dropped. This is an edited post given how Siti, one of long serving full time staff, called me personally and did well on her part with service recovery. So on account of her professionalism and apology, I am revising this post. I sincerely hope Liang Food Caterer will relook at all its food quality, workflow processes and gain back the glory they had in the 90s/2000s.

Reliable budget caterer. I have ordered from Liang Food many times over the years. All in all, I would say they are a value-for-money caterer that is reliable. What I like best about their menu is that it is very flexible. You don't have to choose like one dish from a specific group. In the past, we could also do without drinks. But now, it seems like they have added those syrup drinks into their menu like everyone else. :( Food standards vary according to what type of buffet. For their tea buffet with lotsa deep-fried stuff, and the mini buffet, the quality of the food isn't very good. But, their regular buffet with full set-up is quite good. Their nonya type of food like curry & rendang are all good. The set-up is very basic, unlike the more atas buffet companies. Basically, you get what you pay for. And if you are on a budget, I would say Liang Food is one of the best choices around.

Order many dishes from this caterer. Food arrived very fresh and aromatic. Definitely better than most usual catering companies. Very impressed with their generous portion, food presentation and well prepared dishes. Impressive!!

1st time ordering from them. Delivery was punctual and the food portion was good. Food is also tasty! Price is also on the dot. Would recommend them to my friends!
